Don't know if it's just me, but I feel dissapointed at 2001. Rather than the AI having improved, it appears that the comp can just do things that you can't. e.g. the one-on-one lob, I play on world class and can whup the machine but still can't pull this move. Slide tackling is a joke. The opposition can take your players out with scything tackles one after another, but you can put in a plum tackle only for it to be called a foul. This seems to happen particularly if you would be through on goal on completion of a successful tackle. Crowds r no different in a cup final-there is a complete lack of atmosphere. I wanna see ticker-tape streaming down,frenzied goal celebrations and commentary. And for gods sake get rid of Lawrenson. Loads more gripes but this will do for starters.
