What I want to see in the game is a page to show which players are available for the match the day of the match. So often players are injured during the week in training that it makes sense to let the computer determine who is unable to play, the severity of the injury and how long the player will be sidelined.

I see it working like this:

Make your roster for the next match, save game. Click on 'Matchday' button to see who has passed pregame fitness tests.

Potential reaction may be "Buggers, Seaman is out for a fortnight? Cripes, he'll miss the FA Cup tie! Oh well, I guess Manninger will have to get ready then."

Facing such a change to the line up let the user choose the player who will go into the roster not the blasted computer like in suspensions. So many times I've had a forward inserted into the backfield automaticly and I began playing the game only to have to quit and make the change.

Also, have co-existing National team schedules so as a manager you will be aware when players get the call-up for a friendly or whatever.

And lastly for now - so many who enjoy the game have learned how to make modifications on their own. It would be in the interest of all if you, the mighty EA Sports, would release an SDK to make such homemade mods easier.
