Its funny that they are the best and yet their only major award won was the Euro88.

The Netherlands might not be the best team, but Dutch players are gods! Not one country in the world has produced such a line of quality football players. Cruyff, Gullit, van Basten, Bergkamp, Kluivert, Rijkaard, etc. etc.

I think Brazil has had better players than Holland ,Germany too.As for Italy,we've had good players,but the ones we remember most are defenders(Baresi,Facchetti,Maldini,Burgnich etc....)

Portugal snapped Holland BAD last game. They might had some of the World's best players, but they only won Euro 88.

Lucky or not , France has still something that Holland doesnt have and that is that world cup .Yes ,Holland did beat France,but Zidane,Thuram,Barthez etc... werent playing .Anyways ,what counts is the championships and despite Holland's great team ,they cant win any .
