View Full Version : Attention Kit Makers
Rob Canada 14-12-2000, 06:16:AM Hello,
I was just wondering if someone who is not too busy could please make me the proper Canada home and away kit.
Here is a picture of the away kit: www.canadasoccer.com/eng/nationals/m_wc/index.asp (http://www.canadasoccer.com/eng/nationals/m_wc/index.asp)
The Home kit is exactly the same except that the red and white are reversed. Thus the body is red and the trim is white.
Here is a few pics of the jerseys: www.canadasoccer.com/eng/notice/products.html (http://www.canadasoccer.com/eng/notice/products.html)
The only thing to remember is that the Addidas three stripes on the sleeves and shorts are black on both kits.
Unfortunately I am crap at making kits and I know a lot of you do really good work (Eric the Great, Iceboy, JJ, DKG, etc...). If someone could find it in their heart to give me and other Canadians this christmas present I would be very thankful.
Thanks,
Rob
Any questions just email me @

Rob Canada 14-12-2000, 06:27:AM Oh yeah,
If you want good pics of the Canadian crest, they are on almost all of the pages at www.canadasoccer.com (http://www.canadasoccer.com)
JayWay 14-12-2000, 07:40:AM Yes.
Glory Canada.
Owen Hargraves is class. To bad his Moms from Wales http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/frown.gif
Rob Canada 14-12-2000, 07:54:AM JayWay, You support Liverpool too?????
Me as well, My parents and rellies are from the Pool. We are all big Liverpool supporters!
Where in Canada do you live. I'm from Vancouver...or do you just like Canada?
Yeah, Hargreaves, REALLY too bad. His dad is English as well and I think he said he wants to play for them.
But on the bright side, we have guys like De Vos, Stalteri, Brennan, etc... that are really doing well. I have heard De Vos may transfer out of Dundee U to Celtic (let's hope so).
Anyway, let's hope someone can do those Canadian kits...to all: even if you don't like Canada, the kits are really nice.

JayWay 14-12-2000, 08:01:AM I'm from Toronto. I was at the Mexico-Canada match at Varsity.
Rob Canada 14-12-2000, 08:18:AM Cool...I try to go to the matches at Swangard, but the CSA does not like to host matches there because of its size, although it is very beautiful.
Just something else, what do you think of the idea that the CSA is trying to develop a new Canadian professional league. Might help us develop our younger players I think, and maybe get more people interested.

JayWay 14-12-2000, 08:28:AM I hope it works, it seems to be close to coming true.
But it should go very slowly. If it screws up and fails, it could be the last chance for a league, and the last chance for Canada to step up to the next level of competition with the development process.
Rob Canada 14-12-2000, 08:38:AM Yeah, I hear you clear on that.
If we have a repeat of the old CSL, we may never have a professional league again. We need to have people involved genuinely serious about football. I know here in Vancouver Lenarduzzi is very skeptical of the whole idea and also wants to make sure everything is done for the right reasons.

Daveyboyrills 14-12-2000, 10:21:AM Why don't the canadians just join the MLS i mean the A league has a couple of canadian teams if im not mistaken.. It would be a great boost to the MLS, we have it baseball, hockey, basketball why not football (you have your own cfl for the AMERICAN FOOTBALL) Yes i do believe canadian teams in the MLS would be fandabydozee
Rob Canada 14-12-2000, 11:17:AM Well, erm, I am sure my fellow Canadians will agree that we don't really WANT to be in the MLS. Canadians are not overly fond of the way the US dominates everything. I mean we LOVE hockey, but the Americans seem to have taken over the game even though most Yanks don't even like hockey.
We want to be able to do things on our own. It is similar to why most English and Scots do not want to merge their Premier leagues. I think it is better for the development of both countries that we each have strong leagues.

Daveyboyrills 14-12-2000, 11:30:AM i would love a leicester city 3rd jersey its yellow with a red crest its magic.. the away one in the game is white but i like the yeller un!
Daveyboyrills 14-12-2000, 11:38:AM Do things on your own YOUVE STILL GOT THE GOD DAMN QUEENS FACE ON YOUR MONEY... you aint been able do do stuff on your own for years...(cept the cfl) and thats full of NFL rejects exept for a couple of kickers.. its finacially good for the cities...i reckon Toronto , Vancouver , and lets not forget the Manitoba MooseMurderers.. just pulling yer plonker..i see your point but if the canadians cant get a soccer league thats going to last may as well join one that is starting to thrive.. and you've always got Lance Storm from Calgary, Albeta, Canada to win you a US championship belt if your starting to feel down..
ps did you like the way south park the movie depicted canadians, i thought it was hilarious(in a sarcastic kind of way)"Blame Canada , Blame Canada" hahahaha... Sorry!

emjay313 14-12-2000, 12:54:PM your welcome. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif
JayWay 14-12-2000, 01:13:PM MLS would restrict the number of Canadians on the teams. It would limit development. And it would force us into the crappy American style of play. Already Canadians have a better style from training in Britain.
Rob Canada 14-12-2000, 01:24:PM Aye, listen to JayWay, he knows of what he speaks! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
By the way, JayWay, since you are a Liverpool supporter like myself, what do you think of the fact that are opponents yesterday are freezing out Pesch? Last year in the Worthington Cup he scored a cracker against us. I would venture to say he is one of the most talented footballers we have around right now. He did well at QPR on loan but Fulham won't let him go back? I don't know what went wrong over there but his career is not being hepled by this situation. What do you think?

JayWay 14-12-2000, 01:56:PM Hes pretty inconsistent I think. I think if Holger is gonna start preparing for World Cup 2006 we better start developing new strikers. Cause strikers is our weakness (what, 2 goals in qualifying??) with the Copa American coming up, it presents a perfect opprotunity to get younger players experience in big tournaments against class teams.
celtic&manunited 14-12-2000, 09:05:PM feck the queen and feck the english government.,......get out of ireland and stay out.......ireland is quickly becoming the most economically successful country in europe..england has made a tradition of taking over and taking advantage of smaller countries. some english are cool.....im not alking about england ...im talking about the government and the queen.....the royal famly are basically on the dole and the people of england bow down to her and she wouldnt even look at them let alone let them touch her......****ing ***** i hope she dies soon.
ENGLAND GET OUT OF IRELAND ...26+6= 1
tranmere 14-12-2000, 10:02:PM Ohh I tell u a story of a poor boy sent far away from his home, to fight for his king and his country and the old folks back home.
So they put him in a highland division and sent him to a far foreign land, where the flys swam around in their thousands and theres nothing to see but the sand.
Well the battle started early next morning under the Arabian sun and ole Poor Scouser Tommy was shot by an ole Nazi gun.
As he lay on battle field dying(dying dying)
With the blood rushin out of his head(off his head)
As he lay on battle field dying(dying dying)
These where the last words he said
"ohh I am a Liverpudlian, come from the Spion Kop, I like to sing and like to shout I go there quite a lot(every week) We are a team that plays in red a team that we all know a team that we call liverpool and glory we will go. We won the cup we won the league, been to europe too, we played the Toffees for a laugh and left them feelling Blue-5-0.
1-2 1-2-3 1-2-3-4 5-0!!!
Rush Scored 1 Rush Scored 2 Rush Scored 3 Rush Scored 4 Rush Scored 5 NaNaNaNaNa!!!!!!

Kostas 7 14-12-2000, 11:33:PM Someone mentioned something about doing things on there own. Please don't mention Canada and the NHL. We are the founders of the sport. We are to hockey what Brazil is to futebol. And when an American team wins the Holy Grail Sir Stanley made (Canadian) be sure a Canadian is going to hoist it up first. So don't mention hockey please. Even the star player of the US national team is a Canadian (Hull).
Rob Canada 15-12-2000, 12:10:AM Yes that is very true.
In the NHL Canadian players make up 65% of the entire league!!!! Almost every year a Canadian is the first overall selection in the entry draft. Furthermore the captain of almost every NHL team is Canadian and almost all of the coaches as well.
In the Olympics, we lost in the semi-finals to Czech Republic, I mean Dominik Hasek, and that was in a shootout. Moreover, we did not have soem of the best players in the lineup that game due to injury (Kariya, Sakic, etc...). And the greatest player in the histroy of the game, Wayne Gretzky, did not get to shoot. Needless to say, if there is one sport we are the best at, it is hockey! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Rob Canada 15-12-2000, 02:27:AM Hey out there all you fellow Canadians!
I have gotten word from emjay313 that he will be finished the Canadian home and away kits very soon.
I know I can't wait!
Stay tuned and the maple leaf will reign!
