I would just like to say that the team making the FIFA series deserves a lot of credit for what they've done over the years and I dont like those people who put them down.
Anyway, these are some of the things I would like to see in FIFA 2001:
- Most of all I would like to see the Mexican league (FMF) in a game for once. How hard could it possibly be to get the license, I would think that the league would like the exposure.
- Next,I would like to see some more accurate jerseys (Maybe have one jersey assigned to each team?) get Nike's, Reebok's, or Adidas' license or something. That way it'll make our lives easier not having to create the jerseys ourselves.
- Another thing can you get rid of No. 9 (tell Nike to stop being selfish, this is like the Jordan thing in NBA Live) and No. 10
- Let us choose the colors and the style of the numbers on the jersey (the name of the player wouldn't hurt either)
- Put somebody on the sidelines (camera men, coach, bench, linesmen?)
- Also, in the *Customize" area I would like to see more things to choose from. For example:
* there was only about 4 faces to choose from
* there was only like three hairstyles (except that some were rounder than others.
* there should be a Create a Player mode like NBA Lives'
- Now on the gameplay, there should be more fakes. (a fake shot maybe?) and whatever happened to the step over nutmeg?
- Also the long hair of some players should wave behind them as they run (for example the wrestler's hair in WWF Smackdown)
- You should be able to pick what the keepers get to wear and the colors. (it kind of looks weird that they wear a bright yellow shirt when the teams shorts are green with a red stripe) and another thing they should have their own shorts and socks not the teams, it looks funny.
- I like what you did now with the moving crowd but they look like they're lying down and only the crowd on the sides moves the ones in the corners are just there.
- Bring back the stadiums from FIFA 98, in FIFA 2K you dont even know who the home team is.(FIFA 99 seemed to be directed toward the English league, you should've just called it Euroball)
- More interaction with the ref (confrontations? ejections?) overall more drama.
- More crowd interaction as well, maybe some more chants and booing after the away team scores (the crowd throws cups or toilet paper or something like that)
- Updated rosters would be nice. (the Mexican team still had Garcia Aspe and others that didn't make the World Cup in 98)
And the looks of the players might be good also. (Cuaotemoc Blanco was black, no offense)
FIFA 2K was great it just those little details you guys were missing, if you want I'll go work for you guys.
For now keep making those tight games
