FIFA 12 will bring many great things ... but is one thing that I don't like at all ... the colour of the pitch ... the grass looks burned by the sun ... I think the pitch from WC2010 was the best ... why they don't use that for fifa 12 :(

In general Pes series;

Grass is like a garden and there isn't variety of patterns on grass like fifa , there isn't atmosphere of audience, there isn't snow, perhaps there is rain condinition but it has not any effect on to gameplay (ball physics and ball control).

overall: Fifa is completely better than pes , without menu graphics, cinematics, faces and kits.

I never bothered to play PES 2011 until recently, when I used a spate of good patches on it. But with those patches, PES 2011 is playable and in some ways better than Fifa 11 (patched) and in some ways worse.

We really should not be talking about original versions, because if we believed in original versions, we would not have visited this forum in the first place isnt it? We would not have required Fidel-RegularCat-Erevos patches if we believed Fifa 11 default gameplay was perfect. And I am sure we would not believe Fifa 12 (and definitely PES12) gameplay would be perfect either, and we will again rely on the super-modders here.

Funny thing in all the forums is that - PES 2011 is a crap in Fifa forums, and Fifa 11 is a crap in PES 2011 forums !!!

Bang on, the running animation is amazingly funny, the ball sometimes feels sticky to the feet while running - you are running with the ball, the ball gets ahead of you by one feet momentarily, then glued to the feet. Running animation is nowhere near Fifa 11. PES 2011 was better in one aspect - star players play like stars - Messi is unstoppable there - something I hope will be there in Fifa 12 as well (pro player)

Actually in my opinio these cinematics are crap. The match has not stated yet, but there are highlights from it. Unrealistic and childish. Kids will like it, but it's not like a real tv-broadcast.

And, given that I tried the game (FIFA 12) twice, I told them to get rid of those useless highlights and showing some players making the warm-up instead, but they are still there :(

The problem with that is not that EA can make more faces for each fifa iteration but they don´t even give the means (info about files format or a conversion tool) for the whole editing community to develop faces, stadiums, etc. So far everything that has been created here at the SG forums it´s done with the hard efforts of a few great modders and EA doesn´t care for this a little bit.

In fact the best keyboard control was in Fifa 98. Tricks were made with Shift/Ctrl/Alt/0 + A,S,D,Q,W,E That was the best control. Shift + arrows is much worse, but shift + NUMS, when You have to take a glance at keyboard during making trick is a mistake and it is hard to dribble the opponent in the game. I wonder when those dudes notice that they should change it back.

I think they can, but the won't to do it. Look for example FIFA 11 and all gameplay patches. If one man, like regularcat, Erevos or Fidel can make big changes in gameplay, working just by themselves, then a company with full equipped team can also do it. The problem is lying somewhere else.

You will see the same situation this year. Again, we will be relying on gameplay patches, cause original gameplay, as much as good it is, it will not be on level that it should be. I am optimistic for FIFA 12, but Demo will tell more.

Yeah OK, as much as we like to talk trash about EA.... have you tried the neighbour's attempt? Did you play PES 2012 Demo?. I think EA are pretty damn close to the real life life experience if you compare it to Konami's game.

On the other hand, EA has been building a SOLID game for consoles since FIFA 08 which they have now ported to PC. They've been focusing on team-work instead of individualities, and they got the basics right.

The whole ISS saga, which then became PES/WE and then just PES was the best in football.
PES 3, PES 4 and PES 5 were (at that moment) as good as PES 6 was back then. They led the way for football games throughout all those years. Until FIFA 08 came out for PS3 and XBOX 360. That's when the EA kingdom started.

That's right too.
I think there's only so much EA can do right now maintaining the same platform and engine. Until there's a next-gen to start working on, I think we won't see many radical changes.

Plus, I guess EA likes the results they've achieved so far and they're not interested in changing much. They trust their product, and it shows.

Same for Konami. They started off with the wrong foot and to change engine now would be suicidal. A next-gen will be out by the time they can get it right with another engine on this one.

It seems that fifa included the league within the first few copies of the test game and then had to remove it due to not having enough time to agree licensing with each and every turkish club. I'm still a bit disapointed with their effort they could have atleast got the three big istanbul clubs

These Turkish kits are old 10/11.And I heard that fifa gave some preview versions and licences are not important in them.Unfortunately I think Turkish league won't be in fifa 12:S.

Today, polish game magazine, after testing rewiev version of FIFA 12, announced that polish league (T-Mobile Ekstraklasa) will be unlincensed.

So, it will be fake names, fake logos and generic kits of polish teams in FIFA 12.

It seems that fifa included the league within the first few copies of the test game and then had to remove it due to not having enough time to agree licensing with each and every turkish club. I'm still a bit disapointed with their effort they could have atleast got the three big istanbul clubs

Maybe they should just leave everything in the zdatas, gui folders and db just without the league link; that way we can just unlock everything. (H)

fifa 12 demo wont work on my pc.Has ea removed the very low settings.i have just 1 gb ram.i have problems when the player or pitch appears.like:
1.during defending tutorial
2.selection of kits
3.arena before the match

The game is awesome,for everyone wwho have lag liek me(geforce gso9600,3 gb,dualcore 2-81 ghz) i ran fifa 11 maxed out,80,100 fps.I have in fifa 12 lags but i aked David Rutter and he said that in full version wont be a lag. :D :D :D :D :D

Just to you guys have an idea, even the fifasetup interface (background) it´s not equal. Plus, that option to prevent stuttering on ATI cards, missing in demo, reappears.

I'm stoked that this game is finally out!! I wish I didn't have a day job that kept interrupting my play time :) Way into the soundtrack too!! All Mankind is blowing my mind!! I found this other song called Can You Hear Me? while I was searching for Break The Spell and it's just as awesome http://youtu.be/LRCKTA1MRBY. And turns out their album comes out next week so I can listen to them even more while I'm getting my FIFA on!! Simply put, the whole game is EPIC!!!!
