I would like everyone to compare 2 games that came out roughly at the same time: Quake 2 (ID/Activision) and FIFA 98 RTWC (EA/EA). Since then, EA gave us 1 free patch for FIFA 98, while selling us 3 mediocre patches in WC 98, FIFA 99 and FIFA 2000. At the same time, John Cormack of ID, released 20 free upgrades for Quake 2 AND hundreds of free MULTIPLAYER servers all over the world. That's what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I think EA should take a careful look at the way ID treats us as friends rather than just customers.
