I have a problem with CEP:

I've copied all the files in the 'data' folder, I've regenerated and started the games: it seems to work, there are all the new leagues and teams, but their names are wrong. They seem the default names: i.e. teamname...1, teamname...2, tournament01, tournament02 instead that the real name of the team or league.

Have you any ideas? Perhaps I've downloaded a old version of CEP?

i do but it is forbidden by the makers from f-a to share it, use the exe & make one for yourself but be respectful of the makers & do not release once you do it.

put all the cep files in a safe place then install emis patch then load the dbs & the spanish db & make a cmp.
then put all cep 11 files back, regenerate & then import the cmp you made over cep 11 afa league, teams & players.

under sceneasset/gkgloves copy a gkglove_0_X_textures.rx3 file

(if you dont'have it got o CM and extract once)

and rename it gkglove_0_0_textures.rx3

now regenerate

As I'm using a very slow internet connection, (about 15-20 KBPS) it's quite impossible for me to download the 300 MB "big" file at one time. :md: I'd like to request "RegularCat" to upload the 300 MB CEP 11 file in "6 or 7" parts (about 50 MB per file) in ".zip" or ".rar" format at "mediafire.com". It'll be so much helpful for me & the others who r using slow internet connections. And I'll be able to download and use ur patch & share my experiences with u. I really can't wait. it is but u need to make cmps of nat teams and then be careful to import so u dont have clashing ids.

but u can, I have cep and bengbiggis nat teams patch and works like a charm.

I´m out of words to describe all my grateful respect for this work darkvajo and his team have made, trully satisfied. In fact, infinite teams now to choose, any place in the world. Have just one little glitch: why the mini kits didn´t appear when we select the teams to play? Just one pattern is visible, despite the league. Hints are welcome, my friends. ;)

By the way, even with all dataX.big regenerated. Greetings from Brazil.

Edit: never mind, i noticed some clubs without minis. That´s the reason. I guess.

Also while making such a big patch, you can expect everything to be perfect. We many times use the Randomize button, wherein CM auto generates a face.

Firstly, let me thank everyone who worked on this patch, it's truly awesome and a very comprehensive piece of work. I cannot even begin to empathize with those that worked on it, it was agonizing at times I'm sure.

On to my point, this thread is a debacle. Shameful displays on both sides, producers and consumers, both fueled by one another.

To the mod team: Is it really not obvious that everyone loves this patch? No one would bother commenting on it, good or bad, if they didn't think it was worth their time. Are some of the comments in here disrespectful? Of course. But is there a point in making a huge fuss about someone pointing something out that they wish to see fixed? Ignore it, or if you're feeling charitable, tell them how to do it themselves.

If there's one thing I've learned about soccer by reading relative forums, it's that this really is a world game. If you looks at some of these posts, you have to have some empathy for the posters, as they obviously grapple with the English language, and may or may not have a hard time understanding a read me which, if I'm honest, is vague to say the least. It took me a fair amount of time to get CEP running, I wound up downloading a utility I didn't need, spent a while looking for a function it didn't have, and then I eventually figured it out. One thing I would hope you guys realize, as contributors to a community project, is that you will always have people who don't follow directions. This is further compounded by the fact that a large portion of your users clearly do not speak English as a primary language. When they ask a dumb question, and they inevitably will, simply answering their question instead of telling them to "read the readme" does not take much longer, and preemptively solves the question when they ask it again. Instead of saying "do it yourself", tell them how to do it themselves. "Do it yourself" or "Read the readme" are as poorly made as the comments you're responding to.

In addition to this, step off of the ledge guys. Like I said before, it's obvious the patch is highly regarded. One cannot reasonably expect ubiquitous etiquette on a forum. To tell a colleague of yours not to release updated work because someone hurt your feelings is a disgraceful display. You're trying to get back at those that hurt you, but you're hurting the community at large. If you don't want to do work for next year, I can understand, and would plead with you to not listen to the fools in this thread, because they're a vocal minority, and you guys do quality work.

To the consumers: Respect the modders. They've made this entire project, while you've done nothing. You're in no place to refer to their work as a "disaster", and I would hope the moderation team here is interested in promoting a more positive environment. Ask, don't demand. If you have a suggestion, present it as one, not as a demand. Read the readme, obviously, but you should feel free to ask questions if you don't understand something or need help. Above all, please try to properly articulate your questions, things like proper grammar really go a long way towards correctly conveying the meaning and tone of your post.

"If you guys were planning on doing any more updates, do you think you could look at the Arabic teams? Some of the players' faces are not correct. If not, could one of you at least tell me how to do this myself?"

Why did you expect that this year we'll do like PES? Konami doesn't change almost anything to their database system, not like FIFA, it changes evrytime, people work hard but we get it. Even if this patch isn't perfect but 70 leagues are really hard to make in only some months, more than FIFA.

Settle down Francis, I played PES for a while until discoveries were made for the new FIFA and its just an easy game to mod compared to FIFA but its also an unplayable game, absolutely the worst game play of any sports game released in the last ten years. PES was better game last year and I'll take CEP over any of the big patches released for PES and I have played them all. Yes its an insult because the community spent 6 months putting together one of the largest collaborations in community history so stop smoking the devils lettuce before you post on the forum.

This isn't a PES VS FIFA thread.

This time is difficult to edit fifa by the changes to the file formats.PES have the same engine from 2008 so tools development is more easy. By the way some great patches are out like CEP, some kits and other. If you want to play PES and talk about it there is a PES thread on this forum or on other site. If you want to enjoy some fifa editing here is the right place and CEP is one of that patch that are good to enjoy.I think is the maximum we can reach with today's tools.
Another thing, there is 70 leagues and few collaborations on this patch so you can't except a 5 star patch with perfect data on all leagues. The author tell us if you want a better patch the better way is to start to improve yourself the game and make public your mods.

Hello, first step I want to say the cep 11 is a very fantastic patch. Thank's you for everybody who have participated.
I want to know if somebody have managed an uruguay team more than one season. Me with el nacional I have managed the first season without troubles : I finish 5th. But when the second season beging, I understand nothing, I have a chamionship with uruguay clubs and ... hungary clubs. I can play the hungary supercup and cup.
If somebody have an idea, with i have seen the uruguay table championship, and I think there aren't no troubles.

I have big problem with instaling CEP. I tried to do this on "fresh" copy of FIFA, and when i patched it. There is always the same thing. I install the game, decompress CEP files to my deskop and pasted it to /data folder (I can decompressed it at once to /data :/ ), then I use Fifa11 i68Regenerator 1.6 and click GO. But when I star the game i do not see new leagues ;/ Every time ! Please help me with this problem.

BTW. I got Windows 7, and maybe this is a problem ?

No conflict, but you must install fifa ea updates first then install CEP patch, and you must delete squads from my documents/Fifa 11 folder.

i have a version on my external, the last version i had fixed, its far from bug free.

i can upload the db, but not all the graphics, it would take too long for me.

& the reason its not on the first page is vajo & i decided we had enough of the ratio between thanks & complaints being more towards complaints that we would leave the patch alone.

the thing is the patch is huge in comparison to any other patch on the net.
& the db being done by one man, who doesnt have all the knowledge of players
of every single league in the patch, its impossible to be 100% or even 70% accurate.

plus even getting rosters 100% for so many teams is damn near impossible, considering by the time you finish the rosters in full they have become outdated.

plus all the graphics that have to be made, w/ less willing to contribute then more.

if all the kit makers would have helped we would have had accurate rosters & graphics, but most kit makers would all rather make the same man utd or inter or barca kits then help on a patch of this magnitude.

the killer of this is the lack of appreciation from the users, they cant grasp the understanding of what went into the patch & are only interested in the portion of the patch related to them, example a player from serbia only cares that his league is 100% accurate.

another issue is, if you are going to bitch about the league being outdated, attributes are bad, etc, make a patch to fix it & share it, thats the only way cep 11 will be 100% accurate.

problem w/ this is, they want us to do it, they dont want to put in the time away from playing the game, they dont want to do anything but play the game.

this is where the cep 11 team drew the line & gave up on the members using the patch.

we apologize to the ones who say thanks & are willing to help, but the forum is too diverse in wants, cares & teamwork to make this patch a realization.

I installed the patch, moved the folders into FIFA11/Game/data folder replacing all the files. Then I used i68 Regenerator 1.6, regenerated files, but when I open the game, it says "FIFA 11 has stopped working..."
I deleted FIFA11 folder from My Documents, but still nothing :(

there is a way to set each team to the correct formation but will require you to edit 3 tables within the db & will take some time.

I didn't hear you mention your women, they are fabulous, other than that I have no clue what the hell "Monkeys" means.

i have a problem with my game! I've just completed a season and qualified for the uefa champions league. but when i checked the groups in the champions league, all the groups in the league contains the same team, and only 4 teams including mine. And then the game crashes. What's wrong?

I've installed Fifa 11, patched, extracted this mod, regened. I dont see how this could go wrong!

Edit : Apparently, I've already qualified for the champions league. in round 4 playing dundee united. How is that possible without the group stages?

if you read the read me, you would have known to select english as the language for your game.

regenerate the bh files & make sure you are using the cep 11 loc folder & not your loc folder.

Hi uys. Great work. I just wanted to ask something. I see there is a Romanian league in the patch included as well, but the names are not accurate. Is there a way to export the teams from the CRLP patch and import them into the CEP patch. Any suggestion? Software? What do I do?

Yes. Reinstall FIFA. Install CRLP and make a CMP with Liga 1. Then, reinstall FIFA again, install CEP and import the CMP patch you've created over the Liga 1 from CEP, make sure you select Replace, not create.
This is the method for best result, you can skip the reinstalling, but you can have problems.

How can I play on Champions League/Europen League in Tournament Mode?? Where are Continentals Cups in Tournamet Mode??

I have downloaded the patch and have followed every single instruction as given here.
However, when I play the game, nothing changes. There are no new leagues and no new teams.
Why could this be happening?

No, it doesn't. But Samba patch has got it with some others.

Okay, I found out what I was doing wrong.
I was using the Kit Regenerator to regenerate the files (which was what the instructions over at Sweetpatch and the top post here said), when it did not do anything.
You must use the standard i68 Regenerator to regenerate your files, NOT the KitRegen, or else the patch will not be applied. Fair warning. When I did this, the patch worked normally.

By the way, it is a good patch. The only things that I did not like were:

1. the teams from Africa, Asia and Oceania got all lumped in leagues representing their respective Champions Leagues, which is confusing (I mean, getting an Egyptian team from the Angola block, or a Japanese team from the Thailand block, that sounds a bit cumbersome) - no offense or anything, I just did not like the way they were organized. There should be bigger leagues for the main countries, e.g. Egyptian Premier League, J.League, and so on. As for the teams from countries with no representative leagues, they should be transferred into the Rest of World block.
2. no new national teams were added (there should be at least the teams that appeared in the 2010 World Cup and did not appear in the game).
3. the badges of the teams that were not licensed before came unchanged. But this I can fix.
4. some countries really should have lower divisions (like Brazil, which has some traditional teams in its Serie B), instead of only keeping the ones that came with the game.

All of these are things that had been addressed in previous CEP versions (I actually only had the one for FIFA 08, but it was the best patch ever for that game). But these are just small things, considering the magnitude of this project. All things considered, great work with this CEP, darkvajo, regularcat and everyone else who contributed. Please do not give up for the sake of idiots. Deep down inside, they only want to see you fail. Do not give them this pleasure.

Just two questions:

1. If I edit the tournament structures, does it affect the functioning of the game? The only gripe I had about the CEP 08 is that, when I tried to edit the Copa do Brasil, I could no longer play the Tournament modes in FIFA 08.

2. As said before, I miss a few leagues in the game. If I download a league patch, how will it affect CEP? Will there be any database override?

You must use the standard i68 Regenerator to regenerate your files, NOT the KitRegen, or else the patch will not be applied. Fair warning. When I did this, the patch worked normally.

By the way, it is a good patch. The only things that I did not like were:

1. the teams from Africa, Asia and Oceania got all lumped in leagues representing their respective Champions Leagues, which is confusing (I mean, getting an Egyptian team from the Angola block, or a Japanese team from the Thailand block, that sounds a bit cumbersome) - no offense or anything, I just did not like the way they were organized. There should be bigger leagues for the main countries, e.g. Egyptian Premier League, J.League, and so on. As for the teams from countries with no representative leagues, they should be transferred into the Rest of World block.
2. no new national teams were added (there should be at least the teams that appeared in the 2010 World Cup and did not appear in the game).
3. the badges of the teams that were not licensed before came unchanged. But this I can fix.
4. some countries really should have lower divisions (like Brazil, which has some traditional teams in its Serie B), instead of only keeping the ones that came with the game.

All of these are things that had been addressed in previous CEP versions (I actually only had the one for FIFA 08, but it was the best patch ever for that game). But these are just small things, considering the magnitude of this project. All things considered, great work with this CEP, darkvajo, regularcat and everyone else who contributed. Please do not give up for the sake of idiots. Deep down inside, they only want to see you fail. Do not give them this pleasure.

Just two questions:

1. If I edit the tournament structures, does it affect the functioning of the game? The only gripe I had about the CEP 08 is that, when I tried to edit the Copa do Brasil, I could no longer play the Tournament modes in FIFA 08.

2. As said before, I miss a few leagues in the game. If I download a league patch, how will it affect CEP? Will there be any database override?

1. The SuperLeague is fine for me. You can change therir counrty from Angola to Africa and so on.

2. This patch is only about club football. But you can make a World-Wide Nationalteams Patch, and then import it.

3. I have the same problem, but I can see them in my kit folder, they just doesn't get imported. Same goes for me with other mods, like World Tour.

4. There are only top divisions, but as always you can make a CMP. There is a fine Samba patch.

Questions:

1. One thing before: This CEP is not that CEP. This is Complete European Patch, and the 08 version is Career Expansion Patch. The authors aren't the same. Now the answer: Try editing it, I didn't had any problems so far.

2. Yes, so you must make a CMP of that patch, then import into CMP, and edit it.

A CMP file can be created with Creation Master 11. You can export some players, teams from one database to another. Useful thing.

After you create the CMP, re-install CEP. In the Creation Master, you should load your CMP patch, then import it.

I had the same problem ... Install the final CEP db (you can find it somewhere in this thread ) replace the db folder with the final cep db and regenerate, it will be fixed now.. I played 15 seasons and no problems occured

I told a million times that I wasnt gon' make a new patch. if u guys want to fix it, use cm. if u dont, don't use it. simple as that. we did our best to make a patch considering our needs and what fifa11 gave us since it was a new stucture. so deal with that.

Are you around 12 years? The CEP was a fine patch. You can easily use CM, or DB Master to patch your things. You can make even the last third divison referee from San Marino.

I just bought Fifa 11 on Ebay and am waiting for it to be shipped to me (I got it cheaper than I would in stores) and I'm hoping I can use the CEP patch in one game folder and the Total Brazil patch in another game folder...according to a post on the support forum there is a way to do this, just by renaming the game folder right?? Just checking, looks to be a great patch even though I have yet to try it. :-)

Why you don´t post all the updates as been released before CEP 11 Patch as released on the first? If you do i will not speak this again. Besides a fully update of kits, logos, players, cups and etc... you don´t need to release a new one... Only cmp is make me nuts. A folder with the FIFA edit files in one rar is do the trick. Then i will extract CEP 11 and extract the update inside of the folder and substitute the files, the regerator will do the rest. Is that so simple to do that. Or i need to sleep again :sleep:
And there is a big problem i saw on this post update files and i saw other posts more updates it's very confuse.

guys, i have a problem. i installed this patch and have been playing with this for quite some time. but everytime i play it in career mode, the game date jumps 1 year after the second or third season!

for example, it should be
2010-2011
2011-2012
2012-2013

but after i finish the 2011-2012 season and started the 2012-present system, the date shows as dd / mm / 2013! Which means that im playing the 2012-2014 season, it completely jumped 1 year forward and all the players aged 1 year too! this happens in every game i play.

is there a way to fix this? maybe i could use a tool to change the date or something? please help me

If you download the normal CEP 11, it will contain the original DB. RegularCat's DB is OPTIONAL, so if you download only CEP it's just the default gameplay. But if you want, you can install that gameplay, made by RegCat.

Everyone learns differently. If people get walked through something step by step, they'll usually be much happier to try something themselves.

It's not about being active in this section of the forum, it's been the same forever (regarding new people coming in, wanting to make stuff straight away, and wanting it to be easy).

However, anyone that has done any adult learning or facilitating courses, knows that a "Tell Show Do Feedback" approach covers most different styles of adult learning. Tell then show them how to do it (Tutorials), let them do it, give feedback on what can be changed.

The big thing that hasn't changed around here is guys that are really familiar with editing software (and computers in general) forget that not everyone is. And so rather than 'wasting their time' pointing these people in the right direction to get started on their learning journey, they waste their time trying to be the 'big man in town', and mocking the questions these new guys ask.

I get that their is loads of new people asking stupid questions, but instead of answering with a stupid answer, either don't answer, or at least point them in the right direction. Not every beginner is going to be a great patch maker, but I can assure you some of them will persist.

I know I stopped making kits, and editing tools years and years ago, but now I download other people's. The guys that are making stuff now, I'm sure will one day be doing the same.

Hello guys. 1st of all i want to thanks for that great patch. I want ask you something. Can i play with CEP 11 + Hybrid + Fifa 11 august transfers update(3 files that are in db folder). If yes can you explain me the steps that i have to follow ? I mean, 1st install Fifa 11-> fifa 1.01-> CEP 11 then regenerate -> Hybrid then regenerate -> fifa summer transfers then regenerate. Thanks for a great (or that's at least what it sounds like) patch! I was sorry and embarrassed to read some of the stupid comments in this thread. I think creators have made a great job and they definitely don't owe anyone here anything. A project this massive is sure to have some minor mistakes, but frankly, who cares!

However, like I said, I can't get the patch to work. I haven't tried any PC game mods before, so I don't understand all this stuff very well. Here's what I did:

1) Uninstalled FIFA 11 and deleted the FIFA 11 folder from My Documents as well as the EA Sports folder
2) I re-installed FIFA 11
3) Updated it to 1.01
4) Downloaded Cep and placed the files into the DATA folder of FIFA 11
5) Downloaded and used Fifa 11 Regenerator to regenerate the files (or whatever it is that the program does)

When I open the game, I don't seem to have any new leagues. Can anyone please help? I'd appreciate it!

One more thing: somewhere it was written that the patch should be placed over a fresh FIFA install. If I get now some information on how to get it to work, do I have to uninstall, re-install and update the game first all over again? What actually counts as a fresh install? Is it important that the game hasn't been run before installing Cep?

I'm trying to recover this, but I CAN'T DOWNLOAD!!!

The GameFront link works, but when it gets to downloading, the browser gives me the message that this address:

i'm playing with patch "liga argentina v2" db + all teams of the 10 countries of CONMEBOL, excellent with latest REGULARCATS product.ini, result is best gameplay, like watching a tv match, much nicer that FIFA 12 AND 13 :rockman:
