To All the readers / writers of the forum:
Those are the things that really lacks in fifa 2k.....
Most of the wish I've read: More balls, sponsor on the jersey, more teams, and things like that....
....to all the people who wrote ONLY that....Just watch the game and watch the Real soccer.....maybe you'll find what is missing here!....maybe after that you'll understand more what soccer is.

First of all: The KEEPER!!! ARRRGHHHH!!!! When you shot from Midfield he will throw the ball to a Corner Kick....and when you shot from inside the area he will block "rocket" balls...My questions are: is that real? Is so unbreackable a shoot from midfiled? (not all players are RECOBA or MIHAILOVIJC that can shoot from midfield with terrible "rockets")
second: The fouls...ok I know sometime the refree is not really good, but when you are not going to do a tackle and you only do a contrast (I mean you press the green button with your gamepad pro) most of times the player who has the ball stolen, jumps down and nothing is given...Now, If they had in a real soccer match this kind of "contact" with another player, the refree AT LEAST will give foul, and maybe a yellow card....so the things you can do to repair this are two: Change the animation to have something that still stole the ball, but does not drastically drop down the opponent or put a refree that will give foul.
third: Who is the player who will kick a Foul? ok I can understand that maybe a good shooter could be useful when you are near the opponents area, but when you are in defense a defender or at least a midfielder should kick this foul so that you can have ALL your forwards in their position (for the teams where forwards kick foul). Also add the foot feature: I mean....some players kicks with left some others with right foot....so you can choose the man to shoot according to the position you the foul is (a suggestion: let appear a quick select menu to choose the player who shot at any foul)
fourth: In the foul again: the wall is stopped right there...I think you should have the opportunity to move it at least left and right before the shot....(in the Fifa Rules is written that when the Refree call for a foul the keeper has the time to SET THE WALL...there the wall is always already set...and a lot of times not really well...
Fifth: The Wall doesn't Jump....is a REAL WALL...The WALL of a HOUSE doesn't jump... a HUMAN Wall....SHOULD MOVE!!! Never seen in real soccer a Wall like that
Sixth: you should Choose how many men put in the Wall... 3 - 4 - 2 It depends from the position...and You should be able to Use a man in the wall to run against the ball!
Seventh: Put Numbers in the Tactics Screen...How can I identify my players without it? (as in the PSX version)
Eighth: In season mode Let people play unlimited Years: what can you do in a two years of playng?....set it for more years we can choose a small team and make it grow throught the years!
Nineth: Insert again the "Positioning" Option in the tactics screen.
tenth: Sounds...BLEAH!!! What's that? The crowds are TERRIBLE...No Change when you play away or at Home...Mah? have you ever been to the stadium (in Europe)?....it sounds....DIFFERENT!
eleventh: Again in fouls...the schemes: ok now in fifa 2k you can change the scheme, but there are only Direct free kicks...no Two touch Kicks....I mean: No man who touch the ball to the man who shoots!
twelweth: Please allow a user to ADD a player Without stealing him from another team and changing name and attributes...We need more players...and if you dont give them to us..Let us create them!
Thirtheenth: Allow more than 25 players per team...there are teams with More players watch: www.inter.it (http://www.inter.it) ---follow link for TEAM www.juventus.it (http://www.juventus.it) ---- link to team....
that's beacuse some players play in the cup and others in the Championship and others more in the National Cup...
Fourteenth: Internet play....Internet Rooster updates....an official editor....
Finally:
As you can read the things I mentioned are only on the Gameplay...and not for the graphics....I'd prefer a Game with a Commodore 64 style graphics but with a Great playability and Realism than a Great Looking Game without playability....
My Last Suggestion is:
Just Watch More Soccer in Tv and go to the stadium many times before Releasing Fifa 2001... But go to see REAL matches and not only MLS...Like Champions League Final...Euro 2000, The Italian Championship, The Premier League and the Spanish "LIGA"...
...Play soccer and you'll understand what you should do!
