1. How could she want him? Its Ryan Giggs, most famous Welshman and most decorated British footballer ever and rich as ****. Considering she was with Danny Simpson before, that's one hell of an upgrade. One can only speculate as to the actual amount of wealth Giggs has. She is a groupie, so who else would she go for? Craig Bellamy?

2. Impeccable timing? I bet the media waited on purpose till the weekend to start pushing hard to break this story right in time for the Champions League. If this story was blown over after the game with Barcelona nobody would really give a ****, but now everybody will be talking about it non-stop and how it will affect United for the final.

3. Effect on United? We are ****ed.

4. British groupies are noobs. They need to take a lesson from the American groupies and start making kids from their affairs.

Yeah they did and that's when Giggs wanted the injunction. The actual story only truly was pushed to light this weekend. Notice how last week a bunch of media outlets started posting news that the identity will be confirmed soon. This reignited the whole saga and got people talking about it and by Monday it blew over.

Giggs got the injunction though, the identity leaked afterwards (on twitter I guess, but on different forums the story had already been discussed). Unfortunately now stupid tabloids are posting photos of his kids when reporting the story.

Right, what I'm saying is that the rumour has been around for weeks, but it seems that last week it was brought to the forefront again by the media itself. And I can see why they would do that given the Champions League final is coming up and everybody wants to know how the teams are preparing for the game. A week later and nobody would really pay much attention to this story, hence it wouldn't sell as well next week as it would this week.
