Who are we?
FC Dinamo Bucureşti, commonly known as Dinamo, is a Romanian professional football club based in Bucharest. Dinamo is one of the two most successful football teams in Romania, having won 18 Romanian Liga I titles, 12 Romanian Cups and 1 Romanian Supercup. They became the first Romanian team to reach the European Champions' Cup semifinals in 1983-84.
Founded in 1948, Dinamo has spent its entire history in Liga I, the top league of Romanian football.
The team's traditional home colours are all red. The current crest is a modified version of the one adopted in the 1998. Dinamo Bucharest's home ground is the 15,032-seater Dinamo Stadium in downtown Bucharest, where it has played since 1951.
The club's biggest rivals are Steaua Bucureşti, and matches between the two capital sides are commonly referred to as "The Eternal Derby".

The stadium was built in 1952. In 2001, floodlights were added, and in 2006 a major renovation of the stadium began, enlarging the VIP section, and raising the capacity of the Tribune 2 stand. However, due to lack of funding the renovation has still not been completed. There are now plans to build a new arena, but administrative problems make progress very slow-going. New seats and a new scoreboard were added.

The Eternal Derby
Between them, Steaua and Dinamo won the Romanian football championship 41 times out of 84 completed seasons, resulting in a percentage of nearly 50%. Steaua won 23 championships to Dinamo's 18.
Steaua won the Romanian Cup 21 times, Dinamo 12 times.
Steaua won the Romanian Supercup 5 times, Dinamo once but also has years when they won both the Championship and the Cup (2002, 2004).
They are the Romanian football teams with the best results in club competitions organised by UEFA. Steaua won the European Cup in 1986, was runner-up in the same competition in 1989 after reaching the semi-finals in 1988. In 2006, Steaua reached the semi-finals of UEFA Cup. Yes it is. But we weren't that far. Remember in 1986 English clubs were banned. In 1984 we got into semifinals where we were kicked out by Liverpool, the future champions of that year.

Mircea Lucescu said that Dinamo's team in 1990 was better that Steaua's 86 team. He was obviously very objective and not biased at all when he said that. (H)

How mindless can you be to compare two National Arena matches with our CHAMPIONSHIP matches on our good [ or bad ] old stadium which is considered by the most of us almost a ruin. That is absolutely retarted, Steaua didn't played any match at home this season, because their house is Ghencea. Not that you should be worried about calls Steaua is getting, 11 points back and not gaining on that anytime soon. We stink.

About the penalty call, yeah it's awful but maybe not as bad as you might think. The keeper is guilty of obstruction which is a foul but because Costea is falling as the keeper is obstructing is sort of makes the obstruction moot. Still a bad call.

And that's 2 straight wins for Steaua now in the eternal derby, cup final last year and this past weekend. Feels good. Now if we could beat teams like Ceahlaul maybe this would turn into an old school title race.

If Ciobotariu doesn't quit now he will experience one of the ugliest reaction of our fans I think...even teams from Pluto are knowing his tactic now. Danciulescu and Munteanu are quite useless in 90% of the matches. And they are in the first 11 every tame. Same for Alexe.
Most likely we say goodbye to the potential title, if we get a podium we're good this season. The Cup would be quite nice also.

In defense we need to stick with Luchin in right, Pulhac in left and D. Grigore - Moti in centre, but in the next transfer window they need to buy some good defenders. Only Luchin can be kept in the first team, maybe Moti and D. Grigore... if Pulhac continue this way, must be benched.
In midfield, Matei in left side, Rus in right. They show a great determination, that's waht Dinamo needs. Of course, Kone in centre, maybe with Tames, or Stanescu. In this moments, i think Bakaj would be helpful, but he's loaned...
In atack, Marius Niculae is a must be, but with Tucudean or Platini. Don't get me wrong, Danciulescu is one of my favorite players, but now he's not in a good shape; and man, he's 35 !
I hope in a miracle for winning the Cup, to qualify in Europa League, but if that's happening, the bosses need to get some good players. With this squad we will only embarrassing ourself.

I agree with you, i hope too Vaslui will win. First, to keep the difference between us and CFR, and second, i have a little sympathy for FC Vaslui, they have some quality players, who delight the football fans by their skills. I'm talking about Wesley Lopes, Adailton and Sanmartean here.

The final will be outstanding if the quality of the play will be transferred from the semis. We didn't played that great but still, after Ciobotariu era, this is a huge improvement.

We played good with CFR [ especially second half ] but still, we lost, season over, 4th, maybe 5th place for us from now on. Heads up for the Cup final, we must go forward, hopefully without Borcea, Badea and Savulescu.
