I just bought Fifa 2001, installed it. When i tried to play it i get a kernel32 error message. I need help with this game. I called the tech support rep and as he was walking me through the steps it what he was telling me didn't work. He told me that the only thing i can do is return the game. I really want to play it. Could anybody help me. Also, if enough people are having this problem i think EA should make a patch for the game.

Got the same problem. But I can play the game not online. When I connect first and then launch the game I'm getting Kernel32.dll error. What is the USA support #?

Hmmm... I don't know what to do...
I don't think you should delete the file, that could make a hell out of your computer...

the system will not let you delete it http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif.

yeah, i didn't delete it. I called the tech support man and he told me to close everything down using ctrl+alt+delete except for systray and explorer. I have the sidewinder gamepad and there is a file called Daemon32. When you try to delete this the computer freezes up. When you delete the whole sidewinder file the file is gone but you can't use the gamepads. But that doesn't even help. When I only have systray and explorer running in the background I still cannot start the game. Please help.

Have you tried to search and see if you actually have the kernel32.dll file?
