Why doesn't the computer ever sub it's player for tactical reasons rather than injuries?

Why can't you bring the goalie out to meet the attacker if he gets past the last defender (This was in FIFA2000).

Why isn't there more control over where you want your players to play, rather than the limited amount of tactical options we have.

in fifa 98 tactical movements werent this limited

you can bring the keeper out if you want to.
on my gravis game pad pro, it is the top left second button, gotta use the pointer finger - - if the controller is upside
(-) - down with the cord facing you
i hope this helps you, anyways it is the same button as the through pass if you dont have a gamepad pro. be careful though. i have used it like 5 times, every time i do it too early and the guy lobs a shot right over my head, pisses me off so bad.

scratch that its the first button on the top left.....just remember the through pass button sorry bout the picture i drew, it didnt come out right. its called L1 if you have the gamepad pro of course
