ea have improved the stats for fifa 2001. in the league game i have played 20 games and my top goal scorer have scored 12 goals.

they also have improved the game play but it needs more, for example when i am making a pass the player never moves, i mean he should get possesion and ask for the pass.

i still havn't scored a free kick, it is very hard to gain that skill.

I have a theory as to why you cannot score any free kicks, heres how to get em i the net (it worked for 2000 so it may work for 2001). When you get a free kick on the left lets say, the wall block your left of the goal and the gk stands near the right post, so aim the arrow to curle to around the wall and in to the top left corner, the gk can't get across in time and....G O A L.
I scored about 35-40% of my free kicks on FIFA 2000, pretty realistic.

In FIFA 2000 i have no prob in doing goals from a free kick in World Class, but here in the FIFA 2001 it's a little bit more harder, I havent done just a single one, and I already try some shoots, the main thing it's not getting in red in the power shoot bar and aim good!!!
