after playing the full version
and playing it online i thought id give my impressions of fifa2001.

im not playing fifa2001 anymore - it's just not futbol
it's way too simplified american crap
i gave it a go - but ultimately i dont thnk it's a fair game
it's unfair in the sense that it's not a game of skill but of who knows the sure ways to score - u end up scoring all the same goals.. how bloody boring and unfair

there is no sense of a real game - u just end up play all the fifa2001 attacking plays - and they are so unskillful.. ie. not to hard to header a ball in the net..

i find fifa2001 more of a arcade-style cheap version of futbol for kids to play - they wud love it - cos it's not very deep.

good more bandwith for those who want competition... You play a good player and the games online are outrageously fierce and exciting.. I have played 2 games in fifaclubs.com tournament.. 1st Game was a 6-1 win ..Which was easy but the guy was still a tough player who had some bad breaks..The 2nd game which i played tonight was the fiercest most exciting fifa game i've ever played. The intensity was just awesome. The game ended up 4-3 win for myself... All out defenses by the both of us thwarted scoring oppurtunities with clearences off the goaline great defensive plays by us both . What i am trying to say is the game is that much better when you play someone equal to your skills..Which is very hard to do when your good at the game like myself. I look forward to future matches with this other "manager" as we should have more games go down as "fifa multiplayer" classics.... and i'm not talking about 10-9 games... hard fought close games with great 1 time pass's and perfect setups..Like my goal off a FREE KICK (outside the box) that everyone says doesn't ever happen. Yer Edmundo, I bet hes really good at streetfighter aswell.
FIFA's all about the right button combinations at the right time where as ISS you have to think football and use the whole pitch.

Consoles are for children, sadly ISS it's only for consoles, I will not waist my money in a console while I can upgrade my PC, and still can play a lot of good games, if the people at Konami really are interested in get to the Football fans, they should get a PC version of the ISS, and then we can compare both games, still FIFA will rule in the PC gamers, for bad or good!!
