I am not a soccer expert and will try to describe what move from Fifa 98 (the last version I had) seems to be missing from 2001. The computer can do this move and continually beats me using it but I cannot find a way to do the same. I had used it to evade slide tackles in the opposing goal area. I would be dribbling towards the goal and when pressing a button I would "lift" the ball using both of my feet at once and jump over the defender with the ball still in my possession. If you know what I mean then great, otherwise reply and I will try to describe it better. Anyway... I am trying to replicate this in 2001 and the manual doesn't have it listed. I have a Gravis Gamepad and have used all possible combinations of the "L" buttons (the ones on the top) to no avail."
If you have any ideas as to how this can happen please respond.

tap L1, don't hold to long or a step over will be used.

I think the move your looking for is the one that you pick teh ball with your feet from behin, a similar move is holding R1, maybe its not the same, but i think it's a similiar of the one your looking for!!!
