In an innovative documentary, Castrol pushed Cristiano Ronaldo to the limit in a series of tests designed to measure Ronaldo’s footballing skills, strength, agility and mental toughness.
I watched it and I'm amazed. If you haven't seen it yet, watch it now, it's worth it (Jerzy Dudek appears in the Technique video(H)). It will be shown on Polish TV in a few days so I might understand more. Enjoy guys.

The mental ability one was impressive. I'd like to see him do that challenge with other professional strikers, and not that Ronald kid.
i try to memorize the ball (H)
edit: tbh any decent footballer would look okay on that test. the fact that none of the other two guys had anything to do with football just made Ronaldo look better. the first guy never touched a ball judging by the way he shoots it and the second one doesn't even know how to jog.
since Castrol is like his biggest sponsor after Nike I guess you could take it with a grain of salt.

That shoulder goal was ridiculous. And to make it even better, he scored a hat trick for me in FM while I was watching this.

I'd like to see something like this as a competition/comparison between a set of top players.
That shoulder goal was quite awesome, as well as seeing how the freekick develops. That skill test was also really unique to see, but that guy encouraging him on would have put him off. He lost control once and the sniper got the single "rabbit".
Lastly, I don't think he's the only player who looks at the defenders feet and past the opponent for an opportunity to dribble away.

I was hoping he still had the eye sensors when the chick was talking to him (H)
Haha just watched the shoulder finish. It's like his mocking all those stupid scientists, classic!

Take a random kid from a beach or street game anywhere in the world, i'd venture you'd see very similar eye movement patterns. It's interesting from the perspective of providing hard physical evidence of what people have long known/suspected, but there's nothing particularly new or insightful. Also, I thought it was funny that they talked about how Ronaldo spent less time focusing on the ball, but failed to compensate for the fact that he was in possession the whole time. How about a comparison of his focus while on the ball vs. trying to win it from someone else? To me, that's where the real interesting data would lie.
That aside, his ability to consistently land headed goals in pitch black, while not necessarily surprising, is still impressive.
