Hello, guys!

I got PES 2012 few days ago, and I decided to open this thread for sharing Football Life mode (Master League) experience. I know there isn't many PES players on this forum, but all who play it are welcome to share their stories, experiences, tips & tricks, suggestions, etc.

First I must say that I am quite positively surprised with PES. I used to be a FIFA player, but unexplained lags made me play PES, and actually things got very on my hand cause I like this years PES. When I first time played Demo I was disappointed cause animations are sitll not good for my taste, and I said that many times. But animations are in shadow of amazing gameplay experience. Absolutely fantastic job from KONAMI! :)

What I like very match is atmosphere. You can "feel" every match, especially derbys... It's absolutely amazing. Training challenges are great, but too bad its very short.

Info0, KING is definitely back!

I will start my first season with Villarreal, but with fictional squad. After, offcourse, with Arsenal, with real squad and with PESEdit Patch which have fully licensed teams and leagues. I know it sounds crazy, but idea to play with KONAMI's default squads seems very challenging and fun for me, and I never played like this before. ;)

Also, I will share my tactics, srategies, formations... and I will try to fulfill everything with screenshots, or maybe after with some videos.

Recently, I had some problems with my motherboard and suply unit on my PC. Things are now fixed, and I hope that malfunction won't come back...

I play on 10 min., and professional difficulty! ;)

My team is total ??? for me. Overally my strongest player is AMF Shimizu - 75, which I signed from youth team. Second strongest is CMF Ettoro - 67. I also signed youngster CB Palmieri. All others are 60 to 65. Can't tell what style should I play right now, will need more matches and study more players attributes. RB El Moubark (Captain) showed nice technique in first match...

Transfer window is opened and I sent an offer for experienced midfielder and my future captain (I hope so) Elano. His market value is less then 1.5 mil Euros, have no club and he might join. I need this kinda player. First match I played against AIK and won 1-0. It was though, but nice header gave me first win (it was training match). My current formation is classic 4-4-2. What I noticed in first match was low fatigue from my players. They literally died, they were almost all in "red zone" 20 minutes before match end. I need to improve their form!

First reaction for Master League is absolutely fantastic. It's very rich with everything! Looking forward for next matches! FIFA's Career mode is nothing compared to Master League.

What game speed do you play at? Default? I like slower pace so mostly -2, but it makes it hard for the forwards to get past the defenders.

Where is Castolo and who's Hamsun.

Its the team you can start Master League with as a challenge, it has fake players that are bad.

Ok, mate, I will change Irjescu role as a DM and will drop Hamsun a little back. I will also try formation which I usually play with Arsenal: 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, but doubt that my players will be on the task of it. The thing is that players are very bad shaped. It doesn't bother me that they don't have great dribble speed or shot, but stamina is so low. At least Castolo and other guys were able to play match to the end. xD Will study my team today a little better and see what to change, buy, sell etc.

1. JOHACHNAARD V.V. - VILLARREAL CF 1-1
2. FSV SARMTONBURG - VILLARREAL CF 2-0 - had big luck, it might ended 4 or 5 goals in my net...:blush:

Its enough for today, cause I got so frustrated with my f***ing team. Oh, man...!!!

Well, I can't be very disapointed by team, regarding what players I have, so it's actually not that bad, but I am getting so frustrating. I already see that even if I qualify for first league (Liga BBVA) it will need 2-3 years to get team into order.

I failed to sign Elano, even though he is free player, he obviously saw what dump Villarreal is and decide not to come.

As about my players, youngsters showed so far the best!
Youngster RMF Shimizu *75 (18) is my best player, and my current captain cause El Moubarki (my default captain and very good man) is injured and won't be ready for the half of season. Also, Shimizu asked me to give him #10 and I did.

As when every time you start ML with fictional players those players are the same, here is my opinion of some of them, which might help any of you who play with fictional squad:
- GK Lothar is decent
- CB Jarić is the best for his role
- DMF Stein and Dodo are great for breaking opponent midfield (as much they can be...)
- AMF Ettoro is good playmaker
- LWF Burchet is the fastest man, but he is 34 and I will use his speed until he retire, he also have great dribbling speed
- CF Hamsun and Ordaz are great strikers
- CF Heeder is the player with most precise shoot

Will see how next match (at home turf) will be, but another day, for today is enough. ;)

I will usually not post my progress if I didn't play more then 5+ matches, but today I had 2 matches for almost a heart-attack, so I simply must share it.

After first two matches I had a draw and a lost, and was in the bottom of the D2 table. This team was totally unknown for me and it was very hard. But first two matches were at away, and next one was at home...

VILLARREAL - C.D. RALTONVEGUA 1-1
It was essential to win this match, or at least not to lose points, cause if I want to be promoted to first league I must at least not to lose home matches. Match started very bad... In the last seconds of the first half they scored. I was so pissed!! Then I decided to change the tactics, I have nothing to lose, I must chase the result, so, I change the formation and tactic to 4-3-3 with counter-attacks. Next half I was so proud what my team showed. Yes, yes, I was actually amazed how good my players reacted to 4-3-3. I played aggressively and it was worth it. In 80 minute, Irjescu scored from about 20 meters. Nice low precise ball, GK wasn't able to do nothing. It ended 1-1, but I was satisfied!

Next match was against 2nd team in the league. Very though one! :browsmiley:

CANTLESIT SPOR - VILLARREAL 1-2
SPOR in my language means "slow", but they weren't slow, they were fast little bi*ches. 2nd team in the league, behind WE UNITED, without a lost in first three. It started with me scoring a nice goal from the edge of 16 m box. After, they attacked me so furious. They had one crossbar and one funny miss, but they eventually scored. Second half was mainly me defending, but from a counter I managed to score a second one. It was 50 min., a lot of time and they showed why are they 2nd team. They attacked from all directions, they had 4 corners in the row, but defence managed to hold them. Mainly, I didnt had the ball for more then few passes from 50 to 90 min., when a silly foul from Jarić led to red card and me with 2 minutes of pure drama till the end. Opponent attacker Gidiz was 1on1 with my GK and my boy saved it! It was over, my first win was here!

Hey guys, new Master League update.

I played 5 matches. And here they are:
S.D. QUAZTOLLA - VILLARREAL 0-2
Routine win. But my GK played big role, he saved almost two 100% chances. After, I played "my game" and win was easy.

SPANISH CUP - 1st leg
BARCELONA - VILLARREAL 5-1
Yes, my friends, I SCORED! Barcelona is 1st ranked team. Comparing my players and their I was scared not to gain more then 6-7 goals. They played without Messi, Villa, Xavi and Iniesta. I asked my self how to play against team which is so superior? Answer is easy - play on possession. I tried, but every ball I lost they converted to goal. Two nice counters and I was already traveling 2-0. Only 10 min passed. I managed to hold to the end of second half, with possession 63% in my benefit. Next half, they had 2 free kicks in "danger zone" and both they scored. In 80 min, my youngster Zarate (18) shuffled Barca's defence and scored. I already see that this kiddo will be great player. And offcourse, in last minutes they enlarge their lead to 5-1. I was happy, at least I scored! And I must say that they play very rough, and f*cking referee didn't call me few fouls/assaults.

Back to League.
VILLARREAL - ODERSTEICH 2-1
Oh, that one was though. I was loosing to about 60 min, when managed to score and record 3 points.

VILLAREAL - HJORWESLAND BK 4-2
Goliad. Last team in league, and I was leading 3-0 in first half already. Later I scored fourth and they scored 2 goals in last 5 min. I wasn't concentrated!

SPANISH CUP - 2nd leg
VILLARREAL - BARCELONA 0-1
I played very well, only one goal. It's not bad.

I thought it will be easy one, but it wasn't. They were leading all over 80 min until Zarate took the point.

More and more I play I fell comfortable with my team. Now it's much better picture.

As you can see, Shimizu is in the Best 11. My boy definetely deserved it!
Now I have been promoted o Liga BBVA, but there are still two friendly matches and transfer widnow in which I yet have to see what can I affor to my team. I still didn't get any amount for buyings. Chairman is very pleased so I expect good move from him in terms of financial reward.
So, lets see who to buy/sell.

Guys, still didn't went in Liga BBVA, but I need to say few things about my team. When started, it was very though. I wan't you to remember that I play on Professional difficulty and 10 min. In the beginning my team looked like bunch of amateurs who just started to play football. I was very frustrated with them, but managed to keep pushing up. The thing is that from match to match my team grew. They were getting stronger, smarter, faster and more tactically aware.

Now I have 3 friendly matches before season end. Board still didn't gave me money, but I'll look for some good buyings already. I was thinking to play in Liga BBVA with Jenkeys Gameplay Patch v2.0, which is, as I heard, fantastic, with improved AI in all areas along side with more "off the ball player movement" of my players.

More updates soon, after some buyings and promotion to 1st league! Oh, who just awaits me there... Barca, Real, Sevilla, Atletico Madrid, Valenica... Amazing!

New season has began!

But first, I must say that I might actually f***ed up something. As new season will be much tougher than D2 I decide to improve my team from lowest link, and it was goalkeeper. And I found nice replacement for Lothar, GK which is only an figure on the goal. Unfortunately higher skill players were just needed to direct the ball in goal and no matter the shot power my "Spiderman" GK won't be able to save it. I find Amos, 21 year old multitalent Manchester Uniteds GK. Cost about 700.000 and many clubs in fight for him. And I bite so hard for him that I accepted salary that Red Devils asked. About 780.000 salary and he was in my team. Now, for comparing, my most payed player is Shimizu - 180.00 and Amos is 780.000... See the difference? It's enormous!! And as a result I had to release (cause no one wasn't interested in buying them) my 6 players. And I release all older (29+) players. Just hope that this move for Amos won't bounce out of my head. As about other signings I sign Shwarz, 17 year old striker, from Youth Academy.

Played only one match in Liga BBVA, and it was big one, against Real Madrid. It ended 0-1 for Real. Goal from non-existing penalty that Amos saved, but it reflect it only to the legs of Benzema. Must say that Amos saved many, many nice chances that Real had. So at least he's showing his talent.

I decided not to play with jenkey's patch, cause new official update is coming this month from KONAMI which includes gameplay improvements!

I forgot to say that board gave me about 2 mil. as reward, but big salaries made me not to buy any "big" name! And CR7 is not in Real Madrid anymore, he was transfered to AC Milan!!!

From D2 to Liga BBVA, it was fantastic journey. A lot of great matches! My team is now playing in First League for first time. So, let me just say who did I buy.
- GK Amos (22) - Talented Manchester Uniteds goalkeeper, who was wanted by many clubs.
- FC Schwarz (17) - Great, tall and strong striker from Youth Academy.

In order to fulfill my financial liabilities, I had to release 6 of my players, and I released all players who were older and had overall rating below *60. As I said one of bigger transfers was CR7 to AC Milan.

I played 3 matches so far, and must say that they were really tough. Difference from D2 is enormous. Teams are much more physically stronger, they run faster, the play tactically almost perfect, and I see that I'll had really hard time for fighting them. Board gave main goal for this season and it's qualification to Europa League. I think I can achive that. 5th, 6th and 7th team will be qualified to Europa League. Considering that Barca and Real are untouchable, I doubt I'll be fighting for first 5 places that leads to Champions League. It's just not realistic to expect to be in top 5 this season, so I'll put all my efforts for Europa. There are Sevilla, Atletico and Valencia that will be real challenge.

Currently my strongest lineup is like this:

Zarate (18) is multi-talented striker with great pace and dribbling. I must say that I have 3 wonderkids now: ST Zarate (18), RMF Shimizu (19) and CB Palmieri (19). With amazing GK Amos (22) and Irjesu in midfield this team is capable for fighting against any team.

Yea, it's very bad, man. But at least I can play Football Manager 12. I can find some talents there and apply them in PES once when I buy new GPU.

It's pretty damn good. I find it more enjoyable than FIFA 12 (gave it so many chances and it failed miserably, EA time for massive code overhaul or you'll get eaten alive next time :D).

No, bro, I don't use PESEdit Patch for now, but I follow all regarding it on Pesedit forums. Just saw that v2.4 is out. Didn't install it cause I wanted to try all default by KONAMI, no patch, and plus that I started with fictional team which is very tricky and tough task. Its funny I don't use it, but can't complain it much, since LIGA BBVA in which I play is licensed. After I finish with Villarreal I'll definitely install PESEdit Patch and start new season with Arsenal probably. Back before I used only Gamingaccess patch, but PESEdit is much better and have great quality, it's fantastic! (Y)

I tried Jenkey's patch and was pleased with it, it's good. I have only official database and official update 1.02. installed. And soon there will be 1.03.

Just watched your "Why I choose FIFA 11 over 12" and must agree with you. FIFA 12 made a step back, and doubt I'll give it much chances. Hyped career mode was pretty much a big miss, and other features are also not on the level it should be.

-This was the best game so far. I marked Benzema and cut off their wings, managed to score in first half and then in second scored 2 more. Later, with Benzemas goal for 3-1 in 80 min they managed to improve score a little. Fantastic performance, I'm so f***ing proud!

In the begining of the season I knew it'll be hard, but not that hard. As you see, I'm not standing very good, even though few points separate me from "Europa League Zone". It's very hard to win on home turf, and not to talk about away matches which are though and intense.

After 3 consective loses (Sociedad, PES and Valencia) I decided to change things. Formation 4-4-2 was good, but still wasn't able to pary stronger teams. Then, I tried 4-1-3-2 and it showed that this one is suiting me better, and players play their role very good in it. This is currently my strongest lineup:

I actually didn't notice that my budget is only 14.000, which is not enough even for signing someone from Youth Academy, but I got bid for Camacho on loan (1 year) to Forceilho. It's good to see other clubs interest for my players.

As you can see, his growth is amazing! He was about *59 overall, and now *70! Fantastic improvement so far, and he's only 18. I'll watch he's progress in Forceilho as he is in first 11 and will play many matches till return.

Along side with Shimizu, which is lost for whole season due to bad injury, one more player from Youth Academy showed impressive progress. Palmieri (18) CB *70 (was about *62 when signed) is one of the strongest pillars of my defence, and is also growing with rapid pace.

Next half of the season should be better. I lost Shimzu in the begining what is very visible on the pitch, cause my other wingers don't have needed quality, but overally this team can win Spanish Cup (Even though I'll need to beat Barca, and probably Real Madrid in Finals) and manage to achieve Europa League.

My second season with Villarreal is finished. Now, when I look back and remember all thoose matches, first starts with my team, I can say I'm proud with what I did, and what my team did. They were very weak players in the begining, but now Villarreal is team which can give good resistance to anybody.

Camacho returned (I thought he'll be back in the second part of the next season) and he improved a bit, which is good. My best player Shimizu, as already mentioned, is no more injured and he help a lot in last few matches. His speed, dribling and agility were lacking a lot. Good he's back, hope njury will avoid him in the future. RMF is now fully operational. ;)

Zarate is best scorer, but with only 9 goals. In the whole season I scored 45 goals. Don't know should I worry, but class attacker is needed. Youngsters Zarate, Schwarz and Portizzo are great potentials, but still have to play a lot to improve and to be on the level of a class attacker.

WE United, A.C. Nitsaloskis and PES United were relegated to Division 2, but Liga BBVA gained Granada, Rayo Vallecano and Real Betis.

Very soon new updates about buyings, squad, progress and other things... Board gave me 12 millions, so I'l be aiming for good playmaker and quality attacker, as I'll need good players for Europa.

As you see, I'm back on old 4-4-2 formation. I don't know why, cause 4-1-3-2 was doing good job, but still I wanted to go back on formation in which I feel comfortable. Podolski should be fine as SS and eventually as LMF. He have great shoot, speed and dribble. Zarate is youngster who did amazing things in last season, that's why I put him in front of Hamsun and Heeders. Portizzo and Schwarz will lurk their chance from the bench. Ettori and Irjescu are the best midfield pair, with fast Shimzu on the right and Camacho on the left (even though Camacho's natural position is CMF, that's why he have *61 on LMF, but he'll do his role as a winger just fine). And Palmieri and Jarić as "security guards".

Still don't know in which group I'm in Europa, but season started and first match is against Athletic Club.

I forgot to say that I played 3 friendly matches after the end of the season, and unfortunately lost all of them. I played against Celtic, Rosenborg and can't remember last one. Anyway, against Celtic I was impressed how they played. I lost 3-0, and was so overplayed, even Barca didn't f**k me like they did. In that match I picked some of their tactics. They were basically playing with one tall and strong attacker, Samaras, with a lot of idea in midfield and a bit wider play, but attacking equally from midle and flanks. I was baffled. It looked very attractive gameplay.

And yea, new board mission is qualification for Champions League. F***ing enthusiasts... :bwtf:

I'm off the Spanish Cup which is not bad at all, cause this season I play Europa League and there is a lot of matches playing, which is very hard to follow as my players are not in the shape for that kinda schedule.

Too bad I didn't won any of first 2 matches in EL, but I didnt spill all points, which is good. Next european match is against Rubin Kazan.

Podolski adapted very good. It's really quality attacker and I'm not regretting buying him. Romaldinho prominent his-self as a fantastic player. Currently, Ettori is sitting on the bench cause this 17 year old is holding majority of strings in the midfield, and is a leading man in assists. Camacho and Shimizu are "killing" on the flanks.

- In first half Rubin was my bitch. I don't remember they came even close to my 16m box. Still, my players were competing who will hit the corner flag or who will miss impossible. Podolski, Zarate, Dodo, Ettori and even Shimizu... they all missed a lot of chances. In second half Podolski managed to score and everything was fine, but in 80 min Rubin scored for 1-1. What to say next... I was thier bitch last 10 minutes and recievd two more... Fuc*ed up, right? I almost cried.

- Messi scored from about 20m, but his shot was so weak that I almost thought he passed the ball. I mean, come on Amos, I'm not paying you near a million to recieve goals like that. It's half season now, and it's singing time. I don't have big budget available (about 500,00 only) so will be searching for a young, talented players within my range. And I find two of them. Since my left back Ruskin is not kinda player who can do a significant job on my left side, I decided to search for a replacement.

17 year old Tafforeau caught me eye from youth academy. I picked him as he have special ability of early crossing and decent playmaking numbers along side with good defending ability, and since Ruskin lack of good crosses this buy is must have. And I signed him.

Second player is 17 year old Luciano, but not from youth academy. I was searching for another midfielder, but who is much stronger on his feets and have good speed. On my surprise I find this kinda player. Luciano have *76 overall and was wanted by many clubs. I offered 350,00 with the same amount of salary and he picked my team.

Tafforeau will definitely be in first 11 now as he have much better numbers than my current LB Ruskin. Hope he will show his class.


Podolski is performin great, and more than that. He is in top 5 scorers in Liga BBVA with 11 goals scored. Benzema is 1st with 16 goals. So, buying him was one of my best moves so far, but not the only best move. As you know from previos update I said that Romaldinho is doing amazing job. He is. Unfortunately his growth is not going well as he dropped by 2 points in overall, but on the pitch he is one of the main players. With great sense for finding gaps in the opponent defense he scored 4 goals so far. I like that kinda players like Romaldinho and Shimizu who are midfielders, but often they find themselves in the opponent 16m which mostly result as a goal

So, my team is doing well, but a lot of players are "voicing discontent". I'm trying to rotate my squad depending on players form.
I do that cause:
1: They will underperform if they're not in "green zone" or above (arrows)
2: They might get easily injured, like Shimizu did.
And plus that everybody have chance to show their best. Transfer window is still open and I'm hoping that someone will bid for my players as I saw that Zarate and Ettori are watched by few teams. But for them only loan is acceptable.

Its hard to gauge how much u can spend on this masterleague. U dont earn money as you win. Does the board randomly reward you with miney at end of seasons?

Yea, mate, Cinalton is great. Amazing left foot and great dribbler also. I use him when he have good form or as a joker from the bench, but as it seems he can't pick good form for more then 2 matches in my team, which is bad considering his abiliteis. Good thing is that he is actually improving, not fast, but he is improving. I putted him on the loan list, but no one is interesting.

EDIT: Board award is based on your position in the league, and missions you accomplish. I got a lot of money by qualifying for Europe. If I manage to qualify this season for CL I guess reward will be much, much bigger. Plus some money as I already passed Europe group.

He can still play well even without good form/morale.

What happens re funds? Ive only been through one season n no money tto spend. Just about enough to pay for wages

When I finished 1st season and was promoted to 2nd league board gave me about 2 millions, don't remember how much were wages. I bought Amos only, and signed Schwarz. So, you're now in first league? For me 2nd season was the toughest. I guess that you'll have to qualify for Europe now and then you'll get decent amount of money.

hi Waldo. i dont think i received any bonus from the board in the first season, even after promotion. maybe got booked too many times when told not to get booked! i was just worried re GAME OVER, as i signed a few players in january and now my funds is less than wages.

i am using Man utd. was hoping to get players like chicharito, welbeck for cheap, but they seemed to have fixed that "cheat" from previous game!

Shimizu and Palmieri are amazing talents. I'll post thier progress in update. I also have about 5 matches, maybe less, before the end of my 3rd season.

Try to accomplish board missions like "no booking" or "play that player". I once had a mission to stop A. Sanchez from scoring. So, I think this will boost your budget if you manage to accomplish it.

Left wingers? Hmm... I can tell you that these players are great for this role (LMF, LWF and SS):
- R. Miyachi 1.2 millions (My wish for next season)
- Taarabt 750.000
- Ebecilo - 1.7 millions
- Sinclair - 304.000
- Alex Sandro 726.000 (His main role is LB, but can play both LMF and LB, and he is mine wish for next season)

Those players can play more roles, they are not expensive and have great numbers. You won't miss if you buy any of it. Although, try to peak a little at your youth academy or for some players that are generically produced by game. In my team Luciano is such a player along side with GK Amos. More infos about Luciano "The Amazing", as I love to call him, in next update.

If I get nice budget I'll bid for Neymar, also.

Sometimes I'm trying to get players who are retired, but then they showed up again as a teenagers. Currently I saw that Inzaghi and Abidal (both 16 year old) are very wanted players. I bid for them, but they are very precious to their teams, so, nothing.

I talked with my friends (who plays PES) about this feature when old players are "reincarnated" again, and mostly they don't like that. I don't know why, but I find it good.

So, try to look for some of retired players also, although I didn't had luck at all with them.

I'm planing to "clean" my team thoroughly at the end of 3rd season. I'll try to sell "unwanted", and even some good players. Many are voicing discontent as they don't get many chances.

If you achieve CL in your 2nd season I think that board reward will be pretty big.

Jacko is first on my favorite list. ;) 21 years old, *88 overall, but he has big value, it'll be enormous boost for my midfield if he comes, but it's not top priority signing him.

Here is my list of possible next signings. List will be much bigger at the end of the season. Di Vaio is 16 years now, and only 289.000 value, a must have player. Neymar is in Juventus though, so, I doubt Juve will let him unless I offer double the price, which I will if board get me some nice amount. I picked Canales as he was destroying me when I played against Valencia. Fantastic player! Alex Sandro, Miyaichi and young Di Vaio are top priorities for now. Wilshere and Neymar after them.

Damn, Shimzu *98?! Maybe you picked some option at the beginning, I dont know, Shimzu is *83 in my team.

My salaries are 5 millions (It'll be bigger after new signings) and now I have about 39 millions for signings. My funds weren't completely wiped out after the season end, you can carry money and accumulate it over the time if you spare it, but I never did, and after the salaries it did always left for some signings. Just keep an eye on available funds and salaries, or you'll be forced to release your players.

So, I finished my 3rd season at 4th play of Liga BBVA, which means I achieved Champions League for next season. It was very tough, but thankfully to good signings (Podolsi), I managed to do great job. Best scorer of my team is Podolski with 23 goals, and is 3rd scorer of the league:

or maybe training? not sure how you do the training thing. whenever the team goes up in value (eg. if they are training hard on technique), and tehcnique goes up, i switch it to speed, and then when speed goes up i change to physical. But i always avoid "tactic". This is because whenever i train tactic, everything else drops! I have a feeling that because the way i do this, every player improves at a faster rate on those particular areas only.

before i did the above, (which was beginning of 2nd season), i rmemeebr shimizu was around 80. he is now 98. his personal stats are A, A, E, E.

Ok, here is a small update of my squad.

I signed 4 players. Unfortunately, Miyaichi, Wilshere, Ramsey, Badelj and Vrsaljko aren't interested for me. Di Vaio, Alex Sandro are interested, but clubs won't let them. Nothing I can do. So, I signed CB Hummels *86 (12 millions) RB Andre Almeida *80 (2 millions), GK Paulo Santos (free) and CMF Brocchi from youth academy. As a board new mission is wining Liga BBVA title, I decided to strength my defence a lot. Hummels is one of the best CB's in the game, so, I hope he and Palmieri will do the great job. Andre Almeida should replace El Moubarki (29) on right back.

I thought Portizzo and Schwarz will make significant improvement, but they didin't. They are still improving, but with very slow pace.


4 players left my club cause they weren't able to agree with my contract renewal. Actually, they put it on hold. All 4 didn't play at all, so I'm only regretting that I didn't get a penny for them. These players are: Maqualao, Dodo, Gutierrez and Hamsun. And I didn't got any offer from other clubs, which sucks.

If youre looking for DC, check out SUTTO. hes cheap and i would say as good as palmeiri. with a bit more pace.

i tried signing welbeck, neymar, hazard, shaqiri. none of them will come. probably still to0 early then. i just want to buy a couple of players that are actually known! and have good potential. tried cleverley too, no luck.

you know theres a pack you can buy from the "PES SHOP", with your points, that increases chance of success re transfers in master league. not sure how effective it is. but worth checking out.

Yea, I guess it's too early for some significant signings. I also wasn't able to land any big name, only Hummels, but he was a free player. After salaries payed I now have about 13 millions left, hopefully some good signing at the half season. And I totally forgot about PES Shop, I must check it out and buy this extra feature. I have 1500 points. :)

As about Sutto, I searched him, but no results, I guess he's generic player then, or from youth academy, as players from youth academy are different from game to game.

yep its hard to buy known players. i bought ELIA. i rememeber he was the next big thing for Netherlands at one point. it seems to be quite easy to buy players in "other" with ratings of around 80 or less. have bought a couple others but cant rememeber their names. RANE is also in other for my game.

I can't believe how good my progress is so far. I never felt so comfortable with my team. Well, it is my 4th season with them, but I feel big chemistry and teamwork, it's unbelievable. After last match (WE United) I received a bid for Luciano. And I was very happy by seeing that Inter Milan is standing behind the offer, but as soon as I looked at the amount I started to laugh. As you know (check few post above) Luciano "The Amazing" is 18 years old, very fast, strong and best dribbler in my team. They offered about 600.000 for him. I mean, are you f***ing kidding me? Selling this kinda player for this amount is something that is simply out of a question.

Hummels and Palmieri are awesome pair. Cause of them I recieved only 4 goals in Liga BBVA. Plus, Andre Almeida and Tafforeau on the LB and RB are fantastic. Shimizu is the master of free-kicks. He (I) can't miss. But Zarate is kinda disappointing this season, he showed very little, hope he'll improve. Podolski, on other hand, is awesome.

I have 13 millions budget, half season will come soon (I need class play-maker), yet I still have big matches in front of me. Real Madrid, Barca, Sevilla, Valencia are waiting me.

Yea, bro it's unbelievable! But now, things have turn dramatically from my last update. I fall so much in form, and I'm afraid that things are getting worse from match to match. My defence broke down, attack is ineffective and midfield is nowhere. I'm not improving at the moment, my players numbers are getting down, so, this is my first big crisis. In next update I believe I won't post results, only standings and few player screenshots or so, as I will play till the end of the season and posting all results will take me time.

But I can say now that I signed 3 new players at the half season.
From youth academy two 16 years old: DMF Albelda (Yes, that Albelda!) and SS Di Michelle.
And I bought CMF Anderson, 23 years old *80, great playmaker, very strong, he already scored few goals and have few assists!

yo! tough times waldo. i havent done so well either. 3rd season am in 7th n knocked out champions league.

tried signing ganso recently. he accepted! but i ran out of money. also tried c vela, but he wouldnt come due to competition for places!

my top tip: checkout the "others" in transfer groups. you shoudl be able to attract most of the players under 90 rating by now. i was shocked ganso was interested. will try signing him again end of season.

Yea, s***y times. I can't believe what happened. I have 4-5 matches more, and only miracle would secure me CL next season. And to all that chairman mission was wining the league, he will be pissed, plus I will play Europa, not CL. I'm afraid that I won't get decent amount of money, and I need a good CF and playmaker.

I installed new Jenkeys Gameplay Patch v5.0.0 + PES Edit Patch v2.7, and it's great. Though, few of my players have changed names, but stats (numbers) stayed the same, along side with everything else, only changes are:
Del Carrero - Dios Carrios
Romaldinho - Mintal
Porttizo - ??? I don't recall, as I released him short after installing PES Edit Patch. He was pissing me with his "voicing discontent".

Ganso is also on my favorite list, will try to buy him, although club didn't let him at the half season. From "others" I'm watching for Rossi. And RvP is transfer listed, he's old, but might come in handy.

vela finally man enough to accept. he will join my team end of season. i also want to bid for ganso again. do you remember when you receive the cash injection from the board? vela is coming july, which i assume is at the end of the current season rather than beginning of the next. so i assume ganso will be the same if accepted and so will have to pay for him in july. i dont want to go negative and risk "game over".

I think board awards you at the last day of July, but not sure. Nice that Vela accepted, he's good player, fast and agile.

I signed 16 years old Ballack, he will join me as Vela will join your team, at the end of the season. Transfer fee is 0, as he is free agent. I'll also try to sign Marchena (16 year old) from Arsenal, and Rio Ferdinand (16 years old, free player) and Bellamy (16 years old, free player). I have one more match to play, and if I don't win I'm even off the Europa, I'll end at 8th position, plus Malaga must lose against Barca, which I believe they will.

Anyway, I'll post favorite list of players which I'll try to get. And I must "clean" my team thoroughly as this season was total disaster, some big changes, releases, buyings, sellings and tactics changes must be made for next one.

EDIT: I noticed that almost every mine player have Teamwork = 1. WTF!!!??? Mitsui, is it just me or your players also have Teamwork 1.

i rememebr checking it in first season, they were single numbers. they probably are 1 by now if it kept dropping. is it anything to do with tactics training?

ballack is also free in my game. but i havent offered him as i dont like him. tried to sign the DROG, but he went elsewhere. vela was on last year of contract so he also came for free. gd bit of business

4th season with Villarreal is done, I finished 8th. Pretty bad, right? Not even Europa. And how its supposed to be better when my players have Teamwork 1. But, I trained Tactics a lot and this part is now improving rapidly. All players have Teamwork higher then 55. At least something good.

Despite bad season, Shimzu (21) was picked for the Best 11 of the season, on the position RMF. His overall is *93. Milan, PSG, Sporting, Manchester United, Barcelona and many others are watching him. I already received few offers, but only one that is worth mentioning came from PSG, it was 25 millions worth contract with 4 millions salary. I rejected, as I want to build my team on him and he is more then needed if I want to stand back on my feets.

I sent 2 two players on 1 year loan and earned 7 millions for that move. LMF Luciano (19) *82 will be at Valencia, and CMF Anderson (24) *80 will be at Shakhtar Donetsk this season. Those two players were in my first 11, but I decided to loan them as I signed young replacements for them. AMF Ballack (17) and LMF R. Gardner (17). Gardner is Jamaican, and yes he is very fast. ;) I also don't like Ballack, but I thought that not singing a player who is 17 years old, free, and have *70, plus few special abilities, is crazy. For 3-4 years I assume he'll be great player.

Hi, guys, new update.

So, I played a lot of matches and this time I also wont be posting all the results. Let's just say that I'm doing great. As you already know last season was big failure, no Europa no CL. But this time I picked a pace and currently I'm on the top of Liga BBVA (Check standings). As you see: 14 wins, 2 draws, 0 loses. Pretty nice, ha? Well, it was similar at the begining of my 4th season, but it ended bad. Though, this time I think I wont repeat that, as my teamwork and chemistry are great. Rossi, my biggest signing for this season, is paying off highly. He is top scorer and assister of the League. Amazing player! Zarate, who was at the loan, came bak as different player, with amazing attacking abilities, but only problem with him is that he can't pick good form for more then 2 matches in a row, and I'm really working on condition. But he is doing great job anyway.

Barcelona is a bit weaker then last season, when they were untouchable. They have 2 loses, guess who beat them. YES, I did!!! I won Barca for first time in last 5 years, and I have short video of first few minutes and great Rossi's goal, so, check it out! Rossi and Shimizu were great. It ended 2-1 in my favor.

There are 2 matches left before the half season. Thanks, bro! Yea I really have good squad now, many great individuals. But, I signed another great talent! Del Piero *84, 16 years old, brought for 1.5 million and about 500.000 salary. When I saw Del Piero 16 years old, 84 overall and in "OTHERS" I was like: "OMG, WTF?" I sent an offer immediately and he accepted. Then I noticed another great player: Ryan Giggs, but he picked Manchester United.

So, now with Del Piero, Podolski, Rossi and Zarate I think this is one of the strongest attack in Liga BBVA.

Unfortunately, Barca kicked me from Spanish Cup, but it's important now to win the League. I believe there will be no more buyings, only sellings, hopefully.

Yes, I won the Liga BBVA. I was ahead of Barca (1 lose - 1 win), Real Madrid (1 lose - 1 win) and other great clubs such as Atletico, Valencia, Sevilla. This season was fantastic, with Rossi at front I was most of the time untouchable. Defence was doing fantastic job with stoping pair Hummels and Palmieri, and midfield was orchestrated nicely with Camacho and Shimizu. Luciano and Anderson have joined me back from loan, and now my midfield should be much stronger as Anderson is real class playmaker, but I might look for better one. So, lets see last standings:

So, I'm now in CL, I have great team, will probably try to sign another great player to improve even more. But I was thinking to put Villarreal aside a little and to start a new season with Santos or with someone from Premier League. I will yet see, I don't want to saturate of Villarreal, and even if I start new season with another club I'll definitely keep my saves and later continue with Villareal. But I didn't decided yet.

Ok, I definetely decided not to start new ML with another team, I worked very hard with Villarreal and there are still CL and Spanish Cup left.

Let me just go back on the last season. So, I scored amazing 102 goals, and recieved only 32, which is the least in the League. Palmieri and Hummels are kicking ass. Here are my best scorers (both Liga BBVA and Spanish Cup):
- Rossi 30 (19 assists)
- Zarate 21 (9 assists)
- Podolski 14 (9 assists)
- Shimizu 11 (14 assists)
- and I would like to mention CB Palmier with 5 goals (1 assist)

Board gave me 56 millions for signings.

I recieved offers for 3 of my players that I rejected. Rossi to Chelsea, for amazing 52 millions. I wasn't sure whether to sell him or not, as I have Del Piero as a replacement, but I decided to keep him at the end. Other 2 offer were Hummels to Porto for 48 millions, and Zarate to AC Milan for very low 5 millions. I rejected all, neverthelees amount of money I would recive for selling them.

Fouque retired, he was 32 and decided to finish his carrer. I played him in the last match against Sevilla and was glad that he scored a wining goal. He was one of the main players in the begining of the Master League.

I signed CMF Fellaini (28) 91*, very tall (1.94 cm) and strong player with great passing abilities, just what I was searching for. Price about 24 millions, from Everton. Next signing was DMF/CMF Romeu (25) *85, Bayer Leverkusens player, and his price was about 20 milions. I was happy he accapted as he was no transfer listed and was an established member of a squad. With these two player I gaind massive advantage in midfield. There are also Shimzu, Luciano, Ballack and Camacho. Speaking of Camacho (22), you remember my last update for him (http://www.soccergaming.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3153449&postcount=38), he is now *88 and is still improving with rapid pace. I also signed new GK, Shovkovskyi (17) *81, as a replacement for my main GK Amos. Amos is good, but he didn't improved, and especially now when I play CL, and will fight for League title, I have simpy had to find better. Amos is now at loan, I'm sill counting on him as 2nd GK, but if he improve he'll be 1st.

I sold CMF Anderson (25) 79* for about 9 millions to Feyenoord. He was at loan last season, but when he came back he didn't improved. And as Romeu and Fellaini joined my team I was happy that I recieved an offer for him. I also released Ettori and Irjescu.

i managed to buy ganso finally. very good player, strong, good pass. but not too fast n doesnt hv a great shot. good enough though.

forgot to mention i was playing with a friend before, i.e. 2 player master league. we have now moved to 4 star, or professional. not too much harder, so hopefully can win something this yr.

hv also moved shimizu upfront as SS. playing as our team's "messi". we love playing through the middle, so was a bit of a waste putting him on the right midfield.

OMG Waldo, your squad is just FANTASTIC! I`m happy to see my favourite player (Shimizu) with 93*. Fellaini is very good player and can improve "The Air Play" of the team! Romeu, hmm I wondered is this Oriol Romeu, but I`m not think so... BTW I`m never heard him but look good in the center of the pitch! Also Shovkovsky maybe young keeper, look very strong at defending the soccer net. I`m only not understand that did you sell Ettori and Irjescu?

You can see Irejscu as a sub on that squad picture cause I uploaded this picture before I released them, on Irjescu place is Brocchi now, my bad, I fixed it now. It was hard to me to release both of them. Ettori didn't play last season, but Irjescu was important player. And since Fellaini and Romeu joined it became very cowded in midfield: Ballack, Camacho, Albelda and Brocchi, all youngster, but I wanna give them a chance.

Shovkovsky is "reborn" player, its a Ukrainian GK. I have 5 "reborn" players in my team now: Del Piero (17), Shovkovskyi (17), Albelda (18), Ballack (18) and Di Michele (18). All teenagers!

Oh, yea, I didn't know he play for QPR, I just google it, you're right. And Christian Brocchi is also reborn, so there are 7 now. Yea, Podolski is at the end and will probably not play much, especially now when Zarate showed amazing form and when Luciano is on LMF, but I'll will put him as a sub regularly. I played 2 matches in Liga BBVA so far, won both. In last match Zarate scored 3, Fellaini 2 and Shimzu 1, it ended 6-1, and so far I'm very pleased with Fellaini, he's great. I hope Zarate will continue to be in good form. Also, Brocchi and Ballack as a pair are doing great in midfiled, I was forcing them in friendly matches and they were awesome, especailly Brocchi who once picked the ball at the center of the pitch and I sprinted straight to the goal, avoiding all the defenders, and scored a nice goal. Good pace from Brocchi, and Ballack have devastating long shot. Though, I'm still waiting for De Michele and Schwarz to show their quality. I was hoping for a loan, but no.

City bought only Modrić, others are mostly the same players. CR7 is in Manchester United currently, he was was in Arsenal and Milan before that.

Yea, Shimizu's finishing is poor, he have very soft foot which is good for freekicks, but shot from distance - not. Rossi, Podolski and Ballack have devastating shot, especially Ballack who have Special Ability of Long Ranger. I already scored few nice long shots with him.

Few players also didn't want to come due to competition for place in my ML. I guess Chicharito wants to be in first 11, but you have too much players in his position. Eriksen and Svensson weren't interested cause of that, but Fellaini and Romue were, so, I don't know exactly.

I hope Totti will retire soon, he is very old, and even Drogba still plays. I must sign those two, but I'll need to be quick. It's my 6th season now.

I played first match in CL, against Zenit, it ended 3-1 in my favor, 3 points in the pocket. City won Stade Rennais 2-1.

Rossi was free player, as I started with Villarreal in which he play, so it wasn't that hard for me to get him. I bought him for 14 millions or so in the beginning of 5th season, I think I bid for him earlier but he wasn't keen on a move no matter he was a free player. It was the same with Hummels, when I signed him I didn't have PES Edit Patch installed so he was free player. If you don't play with Villarreal I believe it will be much tougher to get Rossi, but don't quit, mate. :)

Where to start... Okay, Fellaini and Romeu fit to my squad very nicely, especially Fellaini who is flying all over the pitch, he's great in both attacking and defensing tasks. Romeu had very slow start, but he picked good form now and with Fellaini is the main man in the midfield, I'm very glad for both of them. Rossi and Zarate are great in attack. Podolski and Del Piero are often on LMF where they do good. Luciano is growing with rapid pace, he didn't played a lot in Valencia, but in my team he always have place in first 11 if he have good form.

I'm currently 2nd in Liga, with 8 wins and 1 draw (against Real Madrid). Barca is doing significally better then last season, but I still didn't played against them. Athletic Club is a big surprise, I played against them, and won 2-1, but barely, Del Piero scored in last minute for 2-1. They have amazing and talented team, and this is reflected in their position in Liga. I hope they'll keep doing good.

In CL I draw with City, won Zenit, and then I underestimated Stade Rennais (They're 2nd in their league) and lost 2-1. I was warned that they have very fast and technically gifted team with great counter, but I started very offensively and received two stupid goals. Fellaini fixed result a bit in last min. It's completely my fault.

I have very thick schedule now, players will play a lot of matches in very short time. I'll have to rotate my squad a lot cause many will not bear that kinda schedule. And sh*t, there is Barca also.

I really don't understand how to play the Master League as a manager. I am losing everything. I put up a strategy and when I simulate, i'm always losing. Tried a bunch of strategies and different players in the line-up, but still losing every game.

It is also hard to get a player to your club. I bought the game yesterday, but untill this moment did not have any plessure with it.

Can someone help me by giving me some tips?

I was struggling a lot with tactics also, but so far this above suits me the most. If you play with fictional squad then first 2-3 seasons will be very hard in terms of adjusting the proper tactics, as players aren't capable to follow it. Also, don't forget to train Tactics from time to time, I didn't train Tactics in my 4th season and all my players had Team Work 1, which costed me a lot. It's good to change formation during match if you lose and need to catch the result. When I'm losing and I feel that 4-4-2 is not doing good I always change to 4-3-3 with sliders set to Counter Attack. So, try that also, but first set it properly.

And one more thing, try to change whole formation to 4-1-3-2 or 4-2-3-1. I changed my complete formation and tactics in 2nd season when I struggled to win (check picture), and it was good for some time, but I didn't felt comfortable so I switched back to 4-4-2.

Try my sliders, I usually play a lot of short passes. I know it's hard to set proper formation, especially in the beginning, but don't quit. I was pissed a lot, few times I almost crashed my keyboard and was thinking to quit Master League, but all that is behind now. First is hell, then paradise. ;) My road to this team I have now, and this comfort, was very rocky. Just keep it up, don't quit.

I never played ML as a manager so can't really tell, but I believe it's hard, especially if you play with fictional squad. Unfortunately there aren't many users here that play PES, but maybe someone will know better. Anyway, have you tried Club Boss, you can unlock it in Extra Content? I didn't try it, but will after ML saga.

As about signings, yes, it's very diffcult to sign good players if your team is not in the top. You have big success if you try to bid for someone from List of Tragets that your scouts made, try there, and look for Transfer Listed players. Youth Academy is very important, but youngsters will paid off only after 2-3 seasons, you'll need to be patient.

Hi, it's been a while since I posted my progress, so, lets get started.

It's half season now and so far I'm doing good, great actually. Check standings:

Barca lost last 2 matches, against Malaga and I cant remember who was the other one. Anyway I lost against Barca 2-1, and draw with Valencia. 58 scored and only 15 received goals in 19 matches. Not bad at all. My new GK Shovkovsky is responsible for that and offcourse great stoping pair Hummels and Palmieri. Rossi is having another great season with 24 goals and 7 assists (in Liga BBVA, Cup and CL) and overall rating 7.2. Fellaini and Romeu are amazing, midfield is totaly different (worse) without them and they adapted fantasticly. Albelda, Brocchi and Del Piero showed themselves as enormous potentials and I definitely need not to fear for the future of my team. Transfer window is opened now, I will try to sign someone as I have 15 millions budget, and possibly sent someone on loan. I already sold my 2nd GK Paulo Santos to FC Koln for 2.5 millions. Zarate is having great season also, but he is still struggling with his form, and my young CB Dias Caires is showing great talent.

I bought 5 new players, all teenagers (reborn players). (H) Here they are:

- CB J. "Joe" Šimunić (16) *65 - My country man, good player on all defensing positions.
- CF C. Lucarreli (16) *54 - I don't have real CF, and I can't/don't want to wait for Zarate and DJ Campbell to get into real shape, so I decided to sign another CF. (Zarate is great, but his form is s**t!)
- GK Almunia (17) *60 - After I sold Pualo Santos, I stayed on only 1 GK (since Amos is still on loan), so, if any case Shovkovsky get injured or something that I can have at least some replacement.
- LMF Helleybuck (16) *56 - My assistant told me that there is a potential star in Youth Academy and here he was. I already putted him in Cup matches and man, he is awesome, very fast and agile.
- AMF Seedorf (16) *66 - When I saw him as a 16 years old I immediately signed him, that transfer was "must done"!

Helleybuck and Seedorf are definitively main names I signed this time, although Lucarelli and Šimunić will probably play important part in the future if they're not to be sold due to underperformance.

That's it for signings. Lets push now to the end of the season, hopefully making good result in CL and Spanish Cup (I'm in semi-finals, against Real Madrid). ;)

I don't have any particular comment for the draws nor I know how Chelsea is doing currently... I can only say that I'll study their game and will give my best to pass into next round. And I must admit that draws are very interesting. ;)

I've played first CL match, at Stamford Bridge, and lost 3-1. Chelsea played 4-3-3. They have very respectable team: Bale on LB, Xavi and Totti in midfield, Giovinco and Mata as wingers with awesome Lukaku as CF. Things went bad when Shovkovskyi tackled Lukaku in the 16m box, and Totti scored for 1-0. Shortly after Totti scored another for 2-0 after nice action. I went on everything, forcing Shimizu's and Luciano's speed to break through the flanks and in second half that paid off when Shimizu scored fo 2-1. It was good, I scored at their turf, this goal means a lot. But then, in last minutes Bale totally embarrassed me with amazing run through the lank, and then he assisted to Giovinco who didn't had hard job. 3-1 ended, but it's not over yet.

Totti was their main man, and captain. He announced retirement at the end of the season and I want him so badly! I simply MUST get him as a teenager.

Just before the match against Chelsea I played against Real Madrid in the League, and lost 4-3. Unfortunately just 2 days before that match 11 of my players (Rossi, Shimizu, Hummels...) went on International duty and they simply weren't capable to play against Real due to fatigue, so I was forced to play with almost B squad. That lost cost me 1st place, as Barca is now 1 point ahead of me, but more updates about League and Cup in the main update.

Ok, I welcomed Chelsea in 2nd leg of CL. I put very offensive players and made some tactical changes. It was imperative to score in 1st half, and when I almost though that 1st half will end 0-0, in 45min Bale tackled Shimizu on about 21m of Čech's goal. I aimed well, and Shmizu scored! I started next half with same approach, and then in about 60min Meireles was clumsy and left the ball for Del Piero to score. It was 2-0, result which leads me further. Oh, man I was so happy, but knew that there is a lot ahead of me. Rossi had amazing chance, I already put my hands in the air, but ball hit the post. Damn!!!... What happended next? Chelsea had nice counter and Drogba was precise. Well, OK, I needed a goal to make it even now, and then Xavi scored for 2-2. I was devastated, I lost all my will and Drogba scored another one in last minutes. It ended 3-2 for Chelsea. I was both sad and angry. I thought I had them! Next season, maybe. And I want to mention that Chelsea is ranked as 2nd best club, behind Barca, which is not small thing. Now I look forward Cup and for next match which is against Barca. This will be fight for 1st place, they are 1 point ahead of me. :browsmiley:

Here is a new update. Its been a while since my last update.

League is finished. Oh man, it was though with all those Leagues, Cup and CL matches. As you know I was kicked from Chelsea in CL and it happened the same with Spanish Cup where I was kicked in semi-finals. But, I finished 1st in the League which is awesome. Its my second time I won the Liga BBVA. Check last standings:

99 points, 109 scored goals and only 32 received... I think I can be proud! Rossi hasnt repeat last season, but he was good and more then good. Palmieri was picked for Best 11 in Cup, and Hummels and Shimizu in Liga BBVA. This season youngster Del Piero improved a lot and was definitely one of the main players of my team.

I will put PES aside for a while now. I wont be having much time for playing it and will probably wait for Euro 2012 from FIFA. I kept my Saves and one day I believe I would continue it. ;) I really enjoyed in PES 2012 and can say that with PES 6 and PES 2009 this is my favorite.
