I just tried ON-LINE MULTIPLAYER and it works!!!

Guys, dont waste your time downloading the rip of this game, it drops out after you have played a couple of matches, this is from another post in this forum...better to buy it and feel safe.......or borrow it from one of your mates.....or play Unreal and forget about it....Ned

The rip doesnt throw u off after a couple of games, its like nhl 2001, just select the correct settings.
And dont buy the game right now, wait until a couple of patches (or 10 or 20) r released, because the game is long away from being as good as fifa 2000 (although EA only has to improve the gameplay and reduce the size of the ball).

Hey - You got the game before me. Ordered ours overnight delivery from EB World(Shipped Oct. 31st) and I called and I should be getting it Friday. :-( (Too long!)
