can anyone score from a direct free kick in fifa2001? the closest I've ever come to is hitting the cross bar from a free kick, never entered before...is it possible?

yeah its possible, just curle the arrow round the wall hit the ball with about 90% power and there ya have it - doesnt always work ofcourse but thats one of the best ways to score from a set play.

I usually place the curved arrow way past the target and low at about 90% strength also.

Ok... look at the above figure carefully. Try to curl the ball pass the wall at the right side, leaving the ball curling into the right side of the keeper. I prefer hitting the ball high up to the corner of the gaol post, beyond the reach of the goalie with about 90% strength...
