Edit the crowd by using the crowd from Euro 2000 and make them to fifa 2001. The game just don't feel right with such cartoonic crowds. Don't you agree?

yes I agree, it seems as if there are about a hundred people in the stadium. I even heared a childrens choire at one moment. Please let somebody change the crowd and make it sound like 60.000 crazy soccerfans

EA have screwed up the sound yet again - the crowd sounds just as crap as FIFA 2000! But the original topic was about the images - the crowd look as unrealistic as ever, and also look ****e in-game!

That's right, they really look like badly made cartoons, but the sounds...
I've heard their chants on the Home team, it was great...
I use Juventus and they chant "Juventus! Juventus! Juventus!" when i use Argentina, it is the same...
"Argentina! Argentina! Argentina!"
You haf to listen carefully becoz of the commentary and the players on the pitch are noisy.
Any editors out THERE?

Yep the crowd is the first thing that needs to be changed, when your up close it looks disgraceful even worse that the C64 days, common EA you can do better. For the patch makers amongst us we would appreciate it if you could edit the crowd to make it more realistic and not so blocky thanks!!

Here's a good idea.......ask the editors to throw out the Fifa2001 sound and try to copy the sound from CM 00/01......it is awesome if you have heard the sound when you are playing a match in slow commentary speed.The crowd chants.....yellow card gets boos....if you are not a fan fav on the pitch,you will also gets booed....for eg. Man U's Beckham...the atmosphere....it's just amazing!!!Pls any geniuses out there!!!!!!!!

Anyone else other than Nando making new crowds? Remember to transfer the software rendered crowds too. Or else when the camera get close up, you will still see the flat-cartoon crowds under the "standing" crowds! I remember patch of the day for fifa2000 forgot this! http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif
Once the crowd patch is available, the game will be perfect.

In FIFA 2001 there are no more "software-render"-crowds! Only empty places!

Yes there are...They are in the stadium files... stsw*.fsh files.
