- I think players should make much more mistakes , like bad passes, bad shots at goal, corners bad given... If you want to give a long pass ... you should sometimes miss the ball completely or kick it over the line or something

- Also the other players, midfielders,... should take part when you 're attacking

- I think EA should take a look at the gameplay instead of graphics,... for the next version.

Allthough it now seems that the gameplay has improved since FIFA2000. I JUST LOVE THE REST OF THIS GAME !!

1- Fix the PHYSICS, theres no way a player can run and make tight turns, just make the turns more wide if your running.

2- By doing (1-) you should be able to achive realistic dribbles, cuting left/right right/left would work as a dribble if the physics are right

3- FIX THE DAMN POWERBAR, RIGHT NOW THE POWERBAR IS JUST ANOTHER COSMETICAL CHANGE WITH NO USE, make it really work not just as a NEW FEATURE, leave the old shooting style behind and make the powerbar like Actua Soccer2/Iss ev. (The longer you hold the higher the ball goes) And get rid of the arrow system for freekicks use the powerbar

I don't think EA should implement any
Predefined Error, any predefined bad shoot,
bad pass, bad corner, etc. All error, all
success , should be made by game-player
himself.
Power bar should also be applied to lob pass.
so that ball will not always flies in a predefined orbit then stick to player's body
We never see this happens in real football, in which ball often bounces once or twice or more on the ground before player catch it.
The directon cursor(the circle with arrow) on the players is also useless. The directon of pass just follows the press of D-pad is Almost OK. We also never see the keeper can
always catch the ball firmly, when the ball is shot in the penality area with a strong power. Let's imagine in real case, the ball is flying at about 100km/hr of speed, to the goal. How can a keeper catch it??

Conclusively EA should implement real physics
to both the ball and players and provide some
special passing instead of useless, unreasonable special moves. Football is team work, not individual performance.

I believe that even if the ISS guy had not played ISS ever, they would also blame EA cos
they know what is real football.

yes bryanlam, i agree,

but what i actually meant ...

If you run to the corner of the field and you give a long pass to the goal ... it will never go low... or at middle-height. And there will always a player who heads the ball in. That's just not realistic

you understand, that's what i meant.

I think we are in the same road http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif

Have you heard a game last yr by Virgin called VIVA Football something? I have played this game. It already used power bar, in pass, shoot and lob! similar to that in Ixx (or Winning 11 IV). I can even use power-bar-lob to get score near the kick-off circle!! Moreover the ball physics in VIVA more realistic than that in FIFA and goal keeper never act like superman. Futhermore,
most Country Teams have different Jersey in
different ages, like those in real world!!

Although there is quit many porgramming bugs and action is not through enough and no deluxe graphic animation, but VIVA gets most basic ideas and principles about football, that is what EA fails to retain.

one thing i really, really miss in all the fifa games is ... Field physics! YES

wouldn't it be nice to do a sliding tackle on a player leaving a trail of grass and sand (and mud in case of rain) behind you
that must be so cewl ...

i think this is a feature EA really has to consider !!! (creating a very realistic effect)
