I actually went through the entire set of 20 screen shots, because I am a quality-conscious consumer (but probably I'm just a loser http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif). Here's what I noticed...

1) The crowd looks pretty goddamn 2d.
2) The pitch definitely LOOKS bigger (remember we can never trust EA completely). See the 18th screen shot.
3) The attributes system is different. The highest rated player for Mexico had an overall rating of 36, and in fifa 2000, good players had a rating of around 50.
4) Ronaldo may be disguised as "R Morelio." Unless there's a real guy named that who plays for the Brazilian national team.
5) The faces are definitely more detailed than they were in fifa 2000.
6) The guy who took the screen shots hopefully didn't have a high end 3d card because the graphics don't look too much better than fifa 2000. The quality of the graphics in these screen shots is waaay lower than the graphics presented in the official fifa 2001 screen shots at the EA site...

yup, you are right about the crowd, and what i find really funny about that is in FIFA 2000 the crowd was REALLY GOOD (especially in 1024x768 resolution) In EURO 2000 the crowd looked like ****, but they wore clothing similar to the color of the 2 teams playing. As for the gfx, just look at last years screenshots of FIFA 2000 and compare them to FIFA 2001, we all have to admit they this years gfx are absolutely stunning. As for the part about trusting EA . . . I remember seeing some nice pics of FIFA 2000 last year but never actually saw anything close to that in the real game. oh well

I used a Geforce 256 32MB of Ram card...

Yeah, well the graphics will be what the game will look like. You can't play the game at closeup camera angles like some of the EA screens on their site.

Yea, who knows what to expect. And, I wish my screen resolution could go to that, I can go 800x600, that's it. Yea baby! Maybe someday I'll upgrade.
