another great game !! as it always is when ManUre lose.
The Red Devils who set out to remain unbeaten all season have blown it on the very first game :D
And don't tell me that Charity Shield doesn't count ... United were setting their sights on this one there's no doubt.
Anyway special mention to Sami Hyypia who was huge.
And I also feel Liverpool didn't have their strongest side out (they would have done better with Gerrard and others. Veron wouldn't have done much anyway

What are you on?? The liverpool defender threw himself at the ball!! He virtually dived on it! How lucky can you get that that decision didn't go against him!

I think he meant the first half handball and not the second half handball (both by Hyypia!) Does D'Urso (the referee) know how to play the advantage?!

Personnaly I think the ref was good not great but good and made the right decidsions (both times).
Alex Ferguson is trying to put some pressure on EPL refs by blasting D'Urso even before the season starts, and all you ManUre fans are just following "yer leader" without thinking for yourselves if Fergie told ManUre fans to dress up as balerinas I'm sure you'd all do it.
The point is Liverpool won the game fair and square and you just have to admit that, and it's no refs fault if you lose a game (sometimes it is but not yesterday) it's your own stupid fault

Actually Shearer I never saw the interviews with alex ferguson so i never knew he said that so AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I think the main reason we lost was down to Keano trying to scythe a Liverpool player in half in his own box in the first minute. Also, I'll admit United didn't even approach their best until the second half, and by then Liverpool were of course 2-0 up. Mind you I don't think United fans should be too downhearted, at least we salvaged some respect in the second half. (It was funny seeing Liverpool celebrate like they'd won the World Cup though!)

Oh well, down to serious business again next Sunday. United play host to Fulham.

Sure that was a handball and they had a right to complain about that. But there were other incidents apart from that where when a call didnt go their way,the Man U players surrounded the ref and cried like babies. Its that kind of attitude that makes me hate Man U.
