View Full Version : Newcastle moving for Kluivert!!!!!!
BroonAle 25-06-2001, 05:42:AM This may be the biggest coup in the clubs history, bigger than the transfer of Shearer! But it does pose the question, if Patrick Kluivert does move to tyneside, is that the end for Aunty Al? Then again, the may have already realised how crap Bellamy is, and are now looking for a new frontman.
The qouted price is somewhere between £15-20 million, how the hell can we afford this? We have spent £6 mil on Bellamy and are spending £8 mil on Zenden, plus the prospect of Sep Gaurdiola, maybe there is truth in the £100 mil war chest after all..........
Amika 25-06-2001, 06:44:AM do you think kluivert will choose to go to newcastle??
ShearerM4 25-06-2001, 09:36:AM it's well known that Kluivert is a getaway @ Barca. And it is possible that he might sogn for Newcastle with Robson there, but it would lucky for us... having him and Shearer up front !!!!
it might be the first step back to the top
even though i am quite sceptic bout this info
Help? 25-06-2001, 03:55:PM Kluivert to Newcastle? Why would he do that? This guy wants to win thropies and whants to go to newcastle! I don't think so.
Newcastle could be on the verge of being a top 5 club in the premership. The only way is up now for those guys, they have the second biggest ground capacity in England, and have a few fantastic players. In my opinion, it's like Ravinelli moving to Middlesborough a few years back, and even when he moved to Derby earler this month.
But on the other hand, Kluivert's a wank£r so maybe not. :D :D :D
Number9 25-06-2001, 10:15:PM He may be a bit of a wank£r off the pitch (as you so briliantly put it). But you cant deny he's a class act on it. A natural goal scorer and a VERY worthy addition to the Newcastle Utd squad... if we get him that is!
Cheers
dragan84 25-06-2001, 10:18:PM Kluivert to Newcastle...... LMAO LOL :D :P ;)
i agree that kluivert and shearer will be a GREAT COMBINATION...as both of them are wankers and they suck very bad that its better to stick them together in a sucky club and protect the society from them :D :D :D
shez
mikasalo32 26-06-2001, 08:33:AM I think it would be great to Kluivert in the premiership but Im not to sure that it will happen.Newcastle should have saved the money they wasted on Craig Bellamy and put it towards the Kluivert deal to give them a better chance of getting him.
Help? 26-06-2001, 10:09:PM Yup, Nimreitz . This is exactly the same point i wrote before. There is no way Kluivert would go to Newcastle.

Yes, but Barcelona is on the verge of being European Champions in the same way. Why the hell would one of the best strikers in the world leave the biggest club in the world for Newcastle and an angry Scotsman. I like Newcastle too, but in terms of the world Newcastle is a hole in the ground amongst giants in England.
Kluivert is also worth more that 15M. Are you guys on drugs or something? There is no possible way that Patrik Kluivert any time ever in his career, especially at the peak of it, which is now, would go to ****ty little Newcastle. You guys can get so excited when the most improbable rumors come up about your teams.
hmm. been ages since i last posted anything here. anyone remember me?
no way in hell kluivert's going to newcastle. it just won't happen. in the eyes of players of his class, i honestly think he would just view a move from barcelona to newcastle as a massive step down. barcelona are consistently in the champions league, while newcastle, well, aren't.
my money is on kluivert staying exactly where he is.
Can't stop the rush... 27-06-2001, 12:59:PM Yep, Don't think he would wanna miss out on the euro competitions. :)
Silencer 27-06-2001, 01:18:PM Let's put an end to this discussion shall we?
Kluivert's told on Dutch television that he's very happy at Nou Camp and with Barca and he's thrilled because he signed a new contract untill 2005.
He never wanted to leave Barcelona he said so that's that, he will NOT go to another club let alone Newcastle but Zenden is another story cause there are a lot of teams in the market for him as well as Newcastle.
