I you really want to see how ridiculously "talented" the programmers have made the goalkeepers go to training and "practice" penalties. Note how the keeper is able to leap so that his chest is past the post! Also, watch their superhuman footwork. I think that the keeper is a combination Olympian longjumper and world class tapdancer. )That covers just his feet and legs of course.)

Relative to a prior post, EA, relative to the bug in which the keeper waits for the bouncing ball to come to him and the attacker "pushes" the ball through him, and scores a goal, this whole problem would be corrected if you would fix the keeper so that he had a better variety of programmed options for collecting the ball. Apparently, the ball is approaching the keeper in such a way that the keeper's only way to collect the ball is to let it pass behind him and then to jump back on it. This allows the attacker to take it away. It also looks like third rate playtesting or a third rate to response to playtesters pleas to fix it.
Relative to my previous post about extremely long stoppage times, I recently had an unbelievable length even well beyond the limits of what I had imagined the FIFA 2001 people were capable of. Would you believe 13 1/2 minutes?!!! As expected, I was leading against the computer... but then, its rather rare to trail the computer at the end of a half.
For FIFA 2001 we must have keepers whose actions are reason and realistic. EA, if you can't give us realism for FIFA 2001, please scrap 2001 and wait until 2002.
I've seen your financial statement and I'm sure you'd could endure a year without (sometimes it seems illgotten, as in FIFA 2000) FIFA revenues; that way we wouldn't have to endure a second straight year of disappointment and you (EA) wouldn't have to endure a second straight year of complete and warranted berating.
What I would like to see in FIFA 2001 is an option to allow us to play WWF (World Wrestling Federation... which is a joke) v. FIFA 2001 programming team. No holds barred... this would give us the option of taking out our frustrations on the programming team... if we have any http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif (I say this in good fun of course). Why not let us incorporate some of NHL in this option. :0
