Hi, I bit the bullet and
bought an Outrageous Geforce 2 GTS 32mb DDR for £180 from PC World. I am
still having the same problem that I had with my Voodoo 2 when it comes to
Fifa 2001 and Fifa 2000.

After playing the game for a minute the sound cuts out and the
graphics/textures on the screen become corrupted around the goal posts.

I have a supermicro motherboard and have updated it to the last R3 Ami biod.
I have an Awe 64 soundblaster, windows 98 sr2, 128mb, Intel P3 500mhz CPU.

Does anybody have any idea what is causing this? Is it my sound card? I
have the latest drivers installed for the graphics card and for the sound
card (though the sound card drivers are quite old).

Incidently, I only started to have problems with Fifa 2000 on my Voodoo 2
card when Direct X 7 became installed on my machine. I have now got Direct
X 8 which still gives me problems on both cards. Could it be that my sound
card drivers are causing problems?

Any help would be much appreciated becauase the folks at EA don't seem very
interested in replying to my emails.
