I have installed the full version of EURO 2000, except the music, and have noticed that everytime the game accesses a pop-up, i.e. Offside, Goal, Corner, Offside Press, etc... the game accesses the CD which causes the game to freeze for a few seconds.

My understanding was that if you had the files on your hard drive then it would not access the CD. It only accessed the CD if you did not have the files on your hard drive.

I have performed a compare between the data directories on the CD and my HD and there are no differences.

Has anyone got any answers to this and also do you know where the pop-ups are in Euro 2000? In Fifa 2000 they were in \data\popups directory.

Dave, if YOU can't work this out then I wouldn't stand a cat-in-hell's chance.So I'd like to know too.Also, where are the pitch textures in Euro 2000.I can't find them with FSH Sonique which leads me to believe that they are not FSH files this time.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
