View Full Version : For epsxe and Geforce
l atome 03-06-2001, 04:34:PM I have a GeForce 2MX, and ISS2 is some time very speed and sometime very slow, and i have use a FPS limit
I wrote to the creator of Pete's driver, and he say me to use in the configure the "special games fixes -->Use PC FPS calculation".
And now, the game run with a constant speed.
Good game
Perth Glory 04-06-2001, 07:10:PM Really?? I've tried every combination including PC FPS calc and I still get slow down speed up
I'm running Geforce2MX also
Can you please post your exact GPU version and the settings you are using
Thanks!

flyer884 05-06-2001, 11:56:PM just get CVGS!
Perth Glory 06-06-2001, 02:09:PM Got VGS already and it runs perfect only thing is it doesnt enhance the graphics at all
EPSXE runs ISS PE2 with hardware effects at 1024 x 768 an dit looks brilliant but I cant get the frame rate right.. Iatome post your other settings please!

Yes, with CVGS ISS2 works but the image is less nice, and the advantage of epsxe is you can make an iso image on your hard disk, and play from it.
So there aren't access to CDROM, and there aren't some pause during the game
My config is
Duron 700
Geforce 2MX
So with Pete's OpenGL driver 1.50, you click on configure and on the first screen you select :
* "Use FPS limit"
* And put "FPS limit (10-200)" to 30
After you selected "Special game fixes", and clik on the "......."
And on this second screen, selct "Use PC fps calculation".
And epsxe works very well with ISS
Say me if it's work at your home.
Goodbye null
l atome 06-06-2001, 08:46:PM I don't read your last message, this is my config
c:\windows\bureau\tt.jpg
i take this config on an other post on this forum and don't change anything (perhaps other choice is better??)
i think that the only important thinks, is the FPS PC calcul.
And for CVGS, it's the first emulator that i find on the web, but now my favorite is epsxe, for is beautiful image, and the use of iso files....
Really, try it you will love it
Goodbye
Perth Glory 10-06-2001, 07:08:AM I can't see the images youve posted...
Can you try posting again please?
Edmundo22 10-06-2001, 01:59:PM I run epsxe and a geforce2gts
I had problems with some of pete's opengl driver EXCEPT version 1.38 (for both Iss1 and 2)
So yea try pete's opengl 1.38
Mine does run smooth at 1024 resolution, but i prefer 800x600 , cos i like the 100mhz refresh rate at this resolution (very solid).
The players are also bigger (i prefer this), plus with FSAA the graphics are very enhanced :D
So yeah i recommend using 800x600 , this will help the game run smooth too (ur computer can run it faster)
I also recommend using 33 as ur FPS limit, runs smoother for me, dont forget to check the "use fps limit" option.
Hope it helps :D
I am using petes D3D driver 1.50 on my geforce 2 mx with fps set at 38 and it seems fine, but even when I have tried all of the other drivers I get a strange graphical error on a couple of the stadiums. On the first 2 stadiums I think it is I get a couple of lines running diagnally across the pitch. On all of the other stadiums it isn't there. Anbody else get this problem?
