The last i read was that the game was due for release in the U.K. 23/3/2001 , where did you get this new info. from?
If this is the case i'm seriously considering the mod. chip and buying WE5 , do you have any experience of buying imports , do you think i should wait for WE5's U.K. release?

The information is from Miles Jorgenson, the business end of Sports Interactive, who also writes a column in the CTW industry trade magazine, and does lots of work on console games. Apparently, ISSPE2 is ready for release, but is being held back by Sony until April so that it doesn't get in the way of the FF9 launch. He's usually pretty reliable - he told me that SI got hold of an import copy from Hong Kong to play in the office, so import looks like the way to go, quite frankly.
