I've been trying to edit the menus but when i go into the game and try to go to the screen that edited it come up with an error:
OUT OF MEMORY requested blah blah \matchsel.BIG'; 1409424 etc...

how can I do it so this doesnt happen??

What program did you use to edit the menus? When I edit menus I use EA Graphics Editor, and I've never had any such problems.
