Yeah, me too. For you guys who ordered it through the special reserve, are you getting a "item back ordered" message in your order track window? If CM 99/00 has been back ordered, then we can expect to wait another few days before we get it in the mail. I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!

I pre-ordered mine from Special Reserve. I got it today Saturday 4th December. It's way better then CM3.

Oooops.....in my excitement I forgot to mention that I live in Arizona. You should get it any day now. Oh, the website also told me that my order was back-ordered. Don't pay much attention to it, they said it isn't working right.

Got it through US postal service.

The game is excellent although more difficult than CM3. For example in CM3 you can sign 2 excellent coaches to give you a jump-start. In this game, forget it. It took me 2 hours of going through coaches to get a decent backroom staff together and even then I still have a ****ty coach who I can't find a replacement for.

I tried to sign a player and I said he would be a hot prospect for the future and he refused to come to my club cause he wanted to be guaranteed first team football. WHAT A BASTARD!!!!

The one gripe I have about the game is that if you try to sign a player and he doesn't like his importance when you offer the contract, you can't go back and change it even if you try to put a new bid in for him. So like in the last paragraph, when I tried to the player as a hot prospect and he didn't like it, when I tried to put another bid in for him I couldn't change how I vied him for the squad. The game assumed I wanted him for a hot prospect again. Maybe that's a bug and SI will fix it.

Anyway, it's an excellent game and bloody difficult. Have fun!!!!!

london - I hear the new version has MLS in it. Since you live in Arizona, I assume you're at least marginally familiar with the league, how does it look?

The 'can't change what you offered' bug is not actually a bug, but is written in specially. After all, if you tell a player that he will be a backup for the team in the first place, and he rejects you, is he likely to believe you when you go to him again and tell him that he's indispensible to the club?

Also, check out the CM9900 'easter egg'. Go into Board Confidence, choose Board Request, then click Confirm without making a selection. Go and read the news message that pops up...

Revsnet - Sorry mate. I'm English and a Liverpool supporter. Have been since a kid. Haven't paid too much attention to the MLS. I'll tell you this though.....you do get a nice little poster which has all the leagues on it and gives you details aboutthose leagues and transfer information concerning those leagues. Nice one SI!!!!!

Another thing I like is the media in the game. Very tabloid like!!!!! One posting on my news screen was that some Italian player was rumoured to be unhappy at his club and wanted to move away. When I checked out his stats 5 clubs suddenly became interested in him. On the next posting in the news screen the player made a statement saying he was happy at the club and didn't want to move. Quite realistic I thought.
