Can anyone tell me why anyone would download another patch or other download, when there is Fed2000?, what can't you create yourself with Fed2000?

there are guys like Tree out there who update all and everything. I mean of course you can do it all by yourself now - if you got the time.
I like to download patches, and them modify them. But that's it.
