Why after 600 posts or so did Matt Holme close the thread?
The only harm I think it was doing was flooding the forum. Although it didn't really flood the forum, since it was only one topic!

I had an email from Drinky (i think) that said some tuff about bandwidth and sh*t but as i now see in the non-football/fifa related topic forum, the Fifa 2000 fantasy draft topic now has around 800 replys so all i got to say is BANDWIDTH MY ASS

anyways this thread will get deleted pretty quickly coz old mad max wont like this...

The explanation about using bandwidth doesn't hold down with me ... Your thread started off as a challenge and was good fun to start off with as guys started posting things, but as it progressed it descended into a spam heap ...and not your fault for that happening .. In regard to the huge fatasy draft thread, i think that it will be there for a long time due to it being a daily and constructive thread and the keyword here is constructive .. ?? do those Kiwi bird things ever bite/peck you .. they look like something out of the Unreal game ..Ned

kiwis are actually quite rare and timid you would be VERY lucky to see one in the wild. so there is not much chance of them pecking you also the are nocturnal which means they only come out at night. They are also flightless which means they cant fly...Duh
I hope thats summed the kiwi thing up for you i will try and find a pic of one and post it here lol
