guy, you beat me to the punch... i was going to post a topic with regards to the draft.

Actually Neutral, I did not. Instead of seeing that movie, my friends and I went to see Snatch. I personally think it was a really good choice.

ok, a few more questions with regard to the League.......

1. what should our payroll, stadium capacity be set at?? i will set the team reputation attributes to the max, coaches will be all 19s (out of 20) for Asst Manag. and all 16s for coaches.... physios will have 20, scouts are usless really. anything else??

2. what are we going to do with Polish and Ruben? you are the only two guys to pick non-European teams so with travel and all, it will make a difference. do you want to keep the same team and pick a stadium in Europe or something??? i am not sure if that will have a negative effect or not so it's your choice...

3. since we don't want our whole team NOT speaking the same language(s) - what do u suggest? take the major language spoken at your club and have that be the #1 fluent language for every1??

4. what about the European teams?? the Scottish league will have 3 or 4 teams in European competitions, right?? i am not sure if i can edit that out so it looks like 3 or 4 of us will have to play in European comps in addition to the league.... i don't know what to suggest in this case - if 4 of us play European comps in addition to the league there might be injuries or lowered condition/stamina - i thought about just picking a reserve team for the 4 and losing on purpose - but that might have a bad effect on team morale, etc. and we don't want any of you guys getting fired http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I would like to answer these questions, but really have no experience w/ CM .... so I'll leave it to pros like Neutral and Shearer.

Oh ... and off topic ..... anyone know any replacements for Napster?? According to the courts, Napster must incorporate a screening program that will not allow users to access copyrighted material. Any alternatives??

1.Your call on stadium capacity and payroll - I don't know how the editor works in CM00/01

2.I guess Ruben and Polish will have to pick new teams - not that it makes much of a difference anyway - it's just a name.

3.I wasn't sure that you were going to take that into account so that's why I picked three managers that speak different languages - Houllier (French and English), Ranieri (Spanish and Italian) and Taylor (English). Your idea about setting the major language spoken as the fluent language seems fine.

4.Can you edit the Chairmen stats? That way you could set the chairmen's patience to 20, and then field a reserve team for the European games and make them lose on purpose as you said. If people are really picky about morale just do a random draw for which teams will play in Europe (and then crash out), I don't mind being one of those teams.

I'll take any stadium in Europe that has a capasity of more than 65.000, 'cus that the amount Nacional takes to the stadium.
