If EAs' personnel lucks creativity and imagination when making improvements to their game...just fired the CEO and hired the one from Sports Interactive (CM). :D

CM it's 100% more realistic to real football than EAs' FIFA series...the only disadvantage that CM has is that they don't count with a 3D engine...but other than that CM it's a quality game base on real football and not full of bugs like FAPLM series. :(

Here is a list of what FAPLM (EA) has:

1) Fill with bugs.

2) Ref. not blowing the wistle at the end of 1st half or second half until the other team ties the game or win the match.

3) Defenders or GK being able to lob the ball over their on goal with less than 5cm approximately over the cross bar.

4) All the heading goals score from diving players.

5) 80% of FK are score.

6) 90% of PK miss

7) 99% of goals score from CK

8) 90% of the time one player or more get injured using the 3D match engine.

9) Every SINGLE time that a goalie touches the ball with one hand and hits on one of post, just a few seconds later a goal it's score on that same goalie.

10) A goal score gets recall back when a player falls in his own box, even if this player doesn't get foul.

The list goes on and on, but you got my point, right? :D

Here is the list of what CM (Sports Interactive has)

1) Media critiques players and team (or making rumors about players possibly going some where else.

2) Fans critique players and team

3) Some players in the same team not liking each other

4) Able to train players together or as partners

5) CERO BUGS :D

What a big difference, huh? :D

I think with your point about the referee blowing for half or full time after a goal has been scored, they should have automatic stoppage time, and it shows on the score screen like on FIFA series.

TeamA 1
TeamB 0
90:00 Stoppage Time 1:58

But the referee won't blow automatically after a goal has been scored.

There is a typo about the 99% of goals score from CK, instead is just 1%...since I only seen once goals score from a CK...I use can see...this game has so many inaccurate features.

In addition to what has said already...some times when playing the game in 3D something goes wrong on the pitch that players ignore the ball and no one goes after it...and the worst thing is that the clock keeps running....unbelieve.

Well for 2002, I've heard that in the 3D Engine, the players will be a lot smarter.
That's what I've heard from www.gamespot.co.uk (http://www.gamespot.co.uk)

In what way are players smarter? Can you provide further details?

I'm afraid not, but that is what is said at gamespot. Well one way could be that you can see individual skills of each player well.

Well in that case, if players are going to be smarter like you are telling me and who ever reads this post...why manage the team? They can do everything by themselves if they are smart enough, right? :D

I can see the skills of ea. player in the current version, so I don't know how can they be smarter...allowing us to see their skilss won't make them smarter...that doesn't make sense to me, sorry.

So, so sorry. Hang on a minute.... just bashing my head on the table... Ok, maybe I should just say that the players will be smarter, and just leave it at that.

Yes but someones got to choose the formation for them, pick the players, train them, set them tactics and look after the finances, as well as hire and fire staff. I will get a few points stright.
1. The players aren't actually that smart. Certainly not smart enough to manage themselves :D  :p :) !!
and
2. The gamespot section on FA Premier League Manager 2002 isn't the full preview of the game.
3. Also on www.gamespot.co.uk (http://www.gamespot.co.uk) at the moment, you have to type in 'FA Premier League 2002' in the search box to find it.
