View Full Version : Release data of FM 2002 haha 20-08-2001, 03:43:PM FM 2002, will be release on the 31 of august, 2001. I went down to Game yesterday and found out. Better start saving up :P your_worst_night_mare 20-08-2001, 11:37:PM I'm really disappointed about this new version...I saw the fact sheet and I hardly saw any new features...it's going to be the same old thing...including the bugs...I hope Sports Interactive (CM) incorporates to their series a 3D engine soon!! Mufc_spank_all 21-08-2001, 12:58:AM You hardly saw any new features  !! I've seen the fact sheet myself and there are 8 or so good features and improvements, more licensed leagues too, and you still think that this is hardly anything  !! EA Sports gave up F.A. Premier League Stars for this year especially to concentrate on FIFA 2002 and Football Manager 2002. If you ask me, I think the game's gonna be great :) :) !! With the number of features in the game, I'm really hopeful about this year :) :) !! Can't wait :) !! _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (If I was manager of Manchester United, they would win everything, including the FIFA World Club Championship) atlas_I 21-08-2001, 04:30:AM Well, tell me what are they? Cause frankly, I didn't see any major improvements nor feautres. Tell me the features as well as the new leagues you are are going to be in this new version, then I will believe you. :D Mufc_spank_all 21-08-2001, 11:04:AM Ok 1. There will be an updated transfer market, with all guidelines from FIFA/UEFA. Also there will be Pre-Contract/Bosman transfers available to carry out, and CPU managers now counter your offers for players. 2. Better menu interface, with shortcuts for regularly used screen plus the new scrolling bar which will give you information on transfer etc. 3. The 3D Game Engine has better player AI, and now has shouts from the manager of "Pass!, Shoot! and Tackle!". 4. Fast View mode now has text commentary. 5. Better tactical interface. Players can now be assigned an attacking order and a defensive order. For both Individual and Team Orders there are 3 sets of tactics. Plan A, Plan B and Plan C. 6. Training is better, with players being trained as groups or as individuals. Individuals can have many areas of training to improve on. 7. Database Editor has new kit importing art. 8. Database is bigger than ever before with over 35,000 players, 1200 clubs and 1500 managers. Data has been gathered by over 100 researchers. Including me :D :D !! 9. Now whereas the factsheet says there is approximately 21 licensed leagues, www.gamespot.co.uk (http://www.gamespot.co.uk) reckons there are more. Ok now? _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ (If I was manager of Manchester United, they would win everything, including the FIFA World Club Championship) |
