ok, when is a player at his best? what age?
when does a players stats start to go down.

when a player stats start to go down how many points (states) does he lose a
year.

-what age player at best
-when stats start going down, how much year?
-when retire
-WHEN DO KEPPERS RETIRE, WHEN AT BEST?

There isn't an exact time and age for players being at their best, but it is usually about 25 years of age or so. The stats of an outfield player start going down at about 30 years plus. Most outfield players probably retire at 35.
With Goalkeepers though, it is a different story. They peak about the same gae as players, but their stats are less likely to go down at 30. Some of the people posting messages in the Football Manager 2001 Forum reckon their Goalkeepers stats are still to go down at 35!!. The retirment for Goalkeepers can be up to about 40.
