This is for all those people who are having problems. I have been reading derogatory messages, mails and comments about the POTD who have said that the rosters are wrong, kits are wrong, there are errors...
Perhaps before they start blaming us they should look closer to home. We included a README.TXT file with the patch - it is that long message that appears when you begin the install. The idea with a readme.txt file is that you read it and follow the instructions. People who are having problems assumed they didn't need help. If you have any problems, for the last time, here is how to fix them:

1. Uninstall FIFA 2000, backing up your user directory if you wish to keep saves and replays.
2. Install FIFA 2000, with all options turned on. (And the UK commentary patch if you downloaded it)
3. Install the Patch Of The Day.
4. Enjoy the game.

Everyone understand now? I've only typed this message up on here with this kind of attitude because I have read about 30 mails and messages telling me how bad the rosters and jerseys are when in fact people are too bone idle to read a small text file.

The decision to keep it to Div 1 and Premiership was purely logistical. If we tried to research all the lower teams now, they would be out of date in hours, as this is the contract-termination season. We would also then have to do double the work in August to update them. Far better to just do them once in August when the teams are virtually set in stone.

Drinky. If you are referring to my post earlier about the kits, it was just a joke. I think the patch is fab.

I think you probably need some sleep ;-)

Drinky:

Lest anyone forget, you are the man!! This is the best patch I have ever played -- it is like having an entirely new (and better game).

Pay no heed to the quibblers -- it is excellent.

When i play with my beloved Newcastle united, teams always have their away strips and they tend to change colour to like blue or red!!! an annoying problem!!! and i have done exaclt what u said over and over!!! however it seems to always **** up!!
I don't want to complain because u guys have done such a fantastic job, but could u plz help me with this problem??? anyone else having the same newcastle problem? or could it be just my f***ed up computer! lol

Other then that i love the patch makes FIFA 2000 so much better then EA's crappy job

Where are all the rest of the lower division
teams? I thought you said ALL the English
league teams are in the patch. Even the
Conference League as well. Please give me
all the rest of the English teams? Can you?
Anyway, this is the best Fifa patch ever
created by you. Thanks Chris and Drinky.
