View Full Version : Spartak STINKS BIG TIME. the -Russian Rocket- 26-09-2001, 06:55:AM losing 2:0 in Luzhniki to Bayern.. Still halftime, but it is BAYERN, we cannot catch them.. F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK F*CK PhiLLer 26-09-2001, 07:14:AM Well it's no real shame loosing to Bayern is it.....I mean they are a top quality side, hope though that Bayern loose something like 4-2 :D the -Russian Rocket- 26-09-2001, 09:44:AM it's a shame to lose. Simple as that... 1:3 the score is, btw. URRRGHH. but hey, that's what happens when you spend less money on transfers than Cardiff City. Alenitchev 26-09-2001, 12:42:PM How many shots hit the post? about 5? Amika 26-09-2001, 04:57:PM hmmm... maybe bayern is too strong for them... the -Russian Rocket- 27-09-2001, 06:53:AM gee, Amika, you're a genius. Nobody here ever thought that Bayern was too strong for Spartak, we all thought that Spartak could take anyone and WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!!! OF course not, I always knew the maximum abilities of Spartak and Russian soccer league itself.. Just that Spartak exceeded the expectations last year, so I thought about kind of the same year.. Alenitchev: posts? I don't know.. Jari Litmanen 27-09-2001, 10:51:AM Damn that infurtiates me... I would of liked to see Spartak beat FC Bayern. Oh well like you say RR they haven't spent much money on transfers. They have sold players though Dynamo Kiev bought a goalie off them. Can't remember his name. Nimreitz 27-09-2001, 11:36:AM Of course there's no shame in losing to Bayern, if there was, then every team in the world would be feeling pretty shameful. Once again RR, I can prove to you that FC Bayern, Bayern Muenchen, are a better team than Spartak, and instead of reciting last years CL scores, I can recite this years!! the -Russian Rocket- 27-09-2001, 04:25:PM well, it doesn't mean that Spartak has little infrastructure.. They do have money, but just cannot afford to spend more than a million dollars on a player.. Although Spartak's rivals, CSKA, reportedly spent up 10 million bucks (the transfers in Russia are never public) this summer mid-season on players.. Got a rich sponsor, it seems. Spartak did buy a guy over one million, Roman Vasilyuk, a Belarussian, I believe. Young, talented striker. He was the one who scored all 4 Belarus's goals when they beat Poland 4:1 a couple of weeks ago.. So we'll see, maybe this kid will develop as a striekr Spartak needed for the past 10 years. Jari - yeah, Filimonov. The guy has been a symbol of Russian football for the past 6 years; he is not necessarily great, but always was solid. A bald keeper, he is as symbolic to Russian football as Barthez to the French.. Only difference - Filimonov stinks, compared to Barthez. This guy made a crucial mistake in October of 99 on the last minute of the match Russia-Ukraine, on which Shvechneko scored a fluke goal, and Russia disqualified from the Euro'00... If Russia would have won that game, we would have gotten the first place and 100% qualified for that tournament. Filimonov never seemed to recover from that mistake. Nimreitz: no way. Spartak played reallly well last year in the CL, at least before the mid-December's clash against Lion. We must have gotten a tie against Bayern, at least, if we want to stay a respectable club. Lokomotiv, btw, played well last night against Roma in Rome. Lost 2:1, were leading 1:0. Nimreitz 27-09-2001, 06:49:PM I don't have my all German version of Bayern's season highlights on hand right now, but I did post them a while back. In phase 2 of the CL, I think the group was Spartak, Lyon, Bayern, and PSG, but don't hold me to that. Bayern beat Spartak both times, and the better win was in Russia. I posted that a month ago so I remember it. Maybe they swept PSG  Amika 28-09-2001, 09:34:PM i saw the dynamo kiev vs liverpool match the other night and i thought they did quite well, and made quite a lot of dangerous movement towards the liverpool's defence... well, then again it is kiev and not spartak... Can't stop the rush... 28-09-2001, 11:26:PM Hey Nimreitz, I know you wouldn't mind another Real-Bayern match-up.:D But with a different result this time.;) Ubik Valis 28-09-2001, 11:55:PM Originally posted by Can't stop the rush... Hey Nimreitz, I know you wouldn't mind another Real-Bayern match-up.:D But with a different result this time.;) Real is gonna kick everyones asses this season! :D ;) [= SAM =] 29-09-2001, 12:21:AM As Dragan said Real is gonna kick everyones arse they are gonna be so hard to beat especially when headbutting Zidane is back.;) the -Russian Rocket- 29-09-2001, 09:52:AM Real at first must kick everyone's a-ss in their championship.. something they aren't doing lately.. ShearerM4 29-09-2001, 10:29:AM .. it was predictable really that they take a while to start the season .. coz it takes a while for all the players to gel properly together I know it's a classic ... but it's true |
