hey i got the game for 70 aussie dollars....and its alot better than 2002 but thewre is still the same prob im having with my olds game


i try and load a game and it falls bak 2 my desktop.....i load other games but this certain game save wont load


does anybody know why this hjappens


it pisses me off cause now i gotta start the season ovcer again

Its just yet another game bug, like the e-mail bug and Arsenal bug......

Email-bug and Arsenal-bug?

Explain plz.

With the e-mail bug, basically when you try to open your e-mail to game closes and resets to the desktop. With the Arsenal bug, sometimes when you try and trade players wiith another team, half-way through the deal, Arsenal will send you an e-mail saying that they have bought your player that you were swapping. You get their full worth, but you can never again by the player you werewanting originally again. This bug even happens when You are Arsenal o_O!

Neither have happened to me and i've played with Arsenal.

The only time the game has ever closed is once when it got stuck and the sound was playing over and over (click sound) and then it closed after 10 seconds.

yup thats happend to me alot...but only when trying 2 buy non-eu players...i offered 40 mil plus scholes and keane and they accepted....then i was managing arsenal as well at the same time and i got this message saying that the chairman has vetoed the deal because we cant aFFORd it...which is bull i hate that bug i hate loading games and they fall bak 2 the desktop

I haven't seen those bugs...yet :)

But a couple of other strange "closing-bugs":

When one my of my players (ROQUE) scored 4 goals or more...the game decided it was too good to be true, so back to desktop it went...it happened more than one time....

When my pitch was so poor players starting to break legs and such, I finally found a groundsman in the stafflist...I think his name was Hume and a lousy groundsman, but when I bought him and clicked on next, the game crashed :) I had to avoid that staffmember and wait another half a season with plenty of tough injuries before I found another groundsman

I have played thegames for 1000's of hours, and trust me, they do exist.

So is there any bug fix for this? I have the "back to desktop" crash too...

I spent the money and bought this game. I do like this game, however, I don't see any information in EA site. I am so disappointed about this, since the bug is so annoying.

Is there any support site for this game?

I would like a patch for for all the bugs and crashes!

It doesn't seem to be any support at all for this game...I've looked around on the net for days, but can only find several German fansites....EASPORTS doesn't even mention this game on their online site...

Except for this forum...the only other english speaking site I know of is: http://2001.footymanager.net/ ..where they claim to be working on a FM 2002 site, but when that is up and running, I don't know.

Yeah, Marco and Levin own that FM2001 site. They never really got all that far into the development of it.

As far as i know, i don't think there ever was, or will be a way to get rid of the bugs.
