So what level do you all play it on??
Ametuar?
Pro?
World Class?

I play it on World Class now but after winning the SPL then the SPL, Scottish Cup AND Champions League in one season with.......Aberdeen! I decided it wasn't hard enough?

So,
What level do you play it on and do you think they should have easier or harder levels on 2002?

I play World Class exclusively. However, I'd venture to say that the vast majority of casual gamers don't play anything above Professional, if even that.

I have some friends that have just started playing FIFA 2001 a little while back and are just now getting to where they can consistently beat the Amateur level pretty good. One just has to keep in mind that there are all levels out there.

I find that playing it on professional level and not using any of the stupid special moves is fairly enjoyable, sure it still lacks a credible AI and passing into space, but also the computer doesn't go spining through your defence either, but I dont really play it often enough to become really good and still use the keyboard.

Hey,
I still do play FIFA 2001, and what I've take to doing is downloading various aimain. patches from the Downloads Centre and using them until I figure them out. Right now, I'm using the ISS patch (supposed to make game more like ISS)and I've found things a little more difficult. At least, the other team is a little more aggressive and not every high cross results in a bicycle kick. I've done several of these, and anything by Dave Tidy is good for entertainment...also Nick Clubman's patch is decent. Alas, EA Sports is still EA Sports, so the scoring will not drop for any length of time. I've also taken to dropping back and playing defensively after goals, almost inviting counter-attacks, just to spice things up and see how the ai team reacts. Hope this helps!:D

There is one way to make this game hard:

World Class Mode
NO Crosses (u can make it 1 per game)
NO MOVES, EVER

This way I win like 3-0 or 3-1. But I can still score 5 if I try. I think what I have just typed shows how ridiculously easy and stupid Fifa2001 is.

I used to play on world class, but it is still too easy to score 6,7,8 goals.
