I am using Windows 98 and Direct X 8.0 . I never had this program but ever since yesterday my FIFA has been crashing to the desktop after a play a couple of matches in season mode.

Can someone help me ?

I've only experienced this behavior under Windows 2000. I know this probably isn't much help, but just make sure you have the latest DirectX 8.0a and video drivers.

What kind of video card do you have?

I've experienced the same thing under Windows 98, not only in Season-mode, also in Two-players-mode. Reinstalling didn't bring mutch relief. And I know I am not the only Dutch Soccergamer who's having problems with it. Actually, the previous Versions Fifa 2000 and 1999 also had crashing problems.
Hope someone has a clue.:confused:

Make sure that your computer have the full version of directx8.0a
download the latest drivers of your video card sound card read th fifa readme and make sure that your hardaware is supported by fifa.If nothing try support pages or you may have install any game or program that make changes in your registry and fifa cannot run .

The same thing used to happen to me in windows2000.when this happens instead of reinstalling the game in typical mode install it in custom mode and make sure you delete everyting in the Fifa2001 folder.

I am using Windows ME, I can only play two matches then I have to exit to Windows, else the game would crash or exit it-self.

I can't even play it at all under XP.

Any one no the answer ????

Here's ya 2 options:

1. Get rid of Fifa 2001 forver

2. Get a new computer, or blow it up.

I have Windows 98 and Direct X 8 and it works fine 4 me.
