I finally took my Conf team up to Premier league...it took me 7 seasons without cheating in seasons play, I admit I accidently hit the loadbutton a few times during cupplays...otherwise just clever buying of descent players and upgrading the stadium ( Hereford with 60000 ppl:) )

It is not that hard to get pretty good players (skills around 55) so you can advance through the league system, but now I seem stuck. Now, no really good players wants to join my club, even if I have bundles of money to spread around. The better rated players (skills around 85) says "no thank you" even if I can persuade the clubs to sell them...

It will be very hard to try to win the league in three years with players with skills of 65-75...and they won't get any better since there are no good coaches around..got two coaches on around 70% and haven't seen any better in 5 seasons...

Maybe I just restart the game and explore the Arsenal-bug :)

This was something that happened in FM2001.

Because you started as a Conference team, the star players in the game believe that your club is still a Conference team. If they are made to think that, they won't join.

If you start to win loads of games and Competitions in the premiership, then you would get to be able to buy the better players. it all takes time though.

I guess that's what I have to do then...win a few cups and so on...

My first season in premier league is weird (no reloading and in 3d)
16 matches 2 wins 10 draw 4 losses so far

I won't win any championships or cups this way
