I can only talk from a Conf team's way of view...but I'm happy to help out there.

Panayi from West Ham was for sale for 500k...I sold him for 2.8k next season
De Vreese and Friedrich are useful backs, but if you buy them and want to sell them later you'll do a descent profit.

another player for lower leagues is Cziommer (340k), but he's to good to sell...he won't get up fast on money or skills, but is extremely useful with passing around 27...just don't rely on his shooting skills :)

Lower leagues still...attacker Roque..kicks goals like a madman

For higher leagues, ask the dudes that been plaing the game over and over again...I believe there's a few of them around :)

David James, the keeper from West Ham, is a good first year buy. Starts the game at 79, then becomes 88 within a couple of weeks, depending on when you bought him.

t.bramble is a good signing from ipswich and rivaldo is usually transfer listed early. But the best thing to do is work on player exchanges and try to get a good deal, i got l.chadwick fo d.ginola and m.hadji for d.yorke:D

Hientz from some aferican club, you can get him at 100k with skills round 50, but can rise to over 10M after several years. Sitsu is another good buy, and H. Ahamada.
