This time around, I can't understand how these people can stand out in the streets at OUR (U.S.) colleges and protest the bombings and war. Using generic lines such as, "They're kids are scared and afraid too!". First off, most of the "innocent" kids are out of the city in refugee camps or perhaps at the border. These kids are already suffering, and it's not like we are driving planes and bombs directly to kill them. We're trying to bring relief to them as well.
The kids who are trained when they are 4-5 years old that are shown with their weapons and guns are not "innocent civilians". It's sad to say that, but they are not. They were most likely brought up with the idea that "killing for god is good", and we can't help them if they choose to die with their army and government.

That's just one of the things I have to say about these damned "Peace Protests". This isn't a Vietnam, we were targeted first, we were effected personally, and by golly, we'll defend our country and allies.

there were the same protests at Scotland's universitys and at the gates of Downing St.

what do they suggest we(aliies vs terror) do?throw flowers at the taliban?that'll teach them....

Unfortunatly, you will always get anti-war people. They don't seem to realise what is happening. Afganistan was given 2 weeks to hand over Bin Ladin. They didn't so now they must get what they deserve for harbouring terrorism.

Those sad anti war poofs almost certainly had a different attitude on war on the 11th September. The Union Jack was a mixture of the English, Scoittish and Northern Irish flags. Wales isn't actually represented, mainly coz it has been part of England for around 800 years. The Union Jack came around with the Anglo-Scottish Union (originally there was no diagonal red stripes)
