I just got this game on the Playstation and graphics aside its a good game but how the hell do you shoot!

great game, you´re right...
for shooting you gotta press the square button and hold it down a SHORT time!
above the name of your player, you see a shooting bar growing. now you have to practice to find the right moment to let loose, if you pump up too much the ball flies up to the stars.
that´s why the game is so brillant realistic.

I agree it's realistic. It's harder to score, the computer opponents are hard to beat occassionally(Unlike Fifa).
And you don't get ridiculous scores at the end of the game.

Yeah, I love the way you can miss when right beside goal, but score amazing goals from far out as well. There is a real skill to shooting - brilliant!

Thanks guys any suggestions on players to buy in the Master league, I bought Ronaldo and Galles, is there a midfielder or keeper woth getting, I'm playing as Manchester.

Needs a bit more individual skill I feel, its all about passing but Football is about individual brilliance too, ask Sweden.

i agree with you sglean when you say that you miss individual skills. I once got the stepover but i wasn´t able to do it again. Well, next time. I still haven´t given up hope that F2K1 will get as brillant and realistic and un-arcade like ISS is.

You asked about Master League midfielders. I have Edgar Davids. I play a 4-3-3 with Davids as a defensive midfielder. He is quite fast and a pretty good tackler. He also scores the occasional long-range goal. I also have Boban, Beckham, Overmars, and Figo.
