Ok, you're talking about euro2000, right, and all the teams you think will do well in it. i've noticed that a lot of you base your opinions (though the feeble-minded don't and say england, italy, germany, etc.) on the teams' performances in the qualifying stages.

well, guess what? romania, for your information, was one of the first to qualify for championships and they looked really impressive and capable to kicking anyone's ass. they always do well in the world cup and other big tournaments, i don't know why you're underestimating them, maybe it's just because a lot of you western europeans think eastern europeans can't play football or something i don't know. or you're just plain dumb, and go with reputation, so you say england, germany, and italy. i mean, how can you consider denmark, belgium, and portugal, without considering romania?

and what was that thing about trezeguet hardly playing in world cup 98? what???? trezeguet and henry were the main attacking partners in that squad. and they were awesome. trezeguet was heading in some nice goals. i honestly don't know why noone has signed him from monaco yet.

Well,I am from Eastern Europe (Greece),I agree that Romania is a strong team,But I strongly doubt they will win Euro 2000.I mean they are so old.In a few years they are not even going to be close to what they once were......

I for one never under estimated Romania. They can beat anybody on the day, and i think they're better than Portugal. Look at Hagi - 35 but still pure class, he was the first name on my fantasy football teamsheet.
Belgium can spring a surprise too - a maybe Turkey as well. As for winners, I'd have to say Spain, France, Holland, or as a shock the Czechs or Danes?
