Look again, he is confident, but not over confident. He says "we can win Euro 2000", not "we WILL win Euro 200".

True. He just has an over confident nature about him when he talks to the press - and it worries me...

Did you see his comments after the Belgium-Sweden game? he said something like "this England team has more quality in it at every position then England teams I played on, teams in the 80s, and they have what it takes to win the tournament." And he said it will be a success for him if England wins the tournament and not otherwise. I like the second comment, it shows a positive attitude, I think the first comment though is bad, why criticize the past teams, also he sets himself up to be laughingstock if they do badly....
