J-League WE 5

Maybe the_man can help me out with a few details re: difference between this and WE5.

ok Webpage stated has full J-league license with all teams and stadiums(EA you reading this). Also they've modelled 256 different faces just for 700 players, I'm not familiar with their league but its gonna look very convincing...I hope they can do something like this for a couple of European leagues next year.

My guess its a Japanese specific version of PES. Does fifa include Japanese league? or have they conceded they're no match for Konami on their own turf?

Also at the bottom of page it states that the producer has said that there is a possibility that WE 6 will have option for 20 player multiplayer!! Imagine playing the next version of PES with a full human field of players.

I'm gonna have to get a PS2 aren't I...now how to convince the girlfriend its a good investment :)

I believe this has all of the PES updates. I translated the official Konami page for this at http://www.konamityo.com/we/jwe5/check.html and it has information about new animations and most of the newer features of PES. I think it has all the J-1 and J-2 teams but I'm not sure if it has any bonus European/South American teams.
Plus here is a babelfish translation (pretty crappy) from a brazilian site http://www.outerspace.com.br/jogos/w/winningeleven5jleague/ps2/preview/winningeleven5jleague.asp:

" The first update of the series Winning Eleven since Winning Eleven 5 will be based on the J-League surmounting of the Konami, focada in the Japanese soccer. J-League Winning Eleven 5 will bring for the first time to the public all the developed updates to long of the year for the Konami - the same ones foreseen for the européia version Pro Evolution Soccer - and a breeding with more than 700 players of the Japanese soccer. It confers some of the main disclosed features already on this new edition: - Use of the HD of Playstation 2 for beginning of the starts in intervals of 1 the 2 seconds; - Shipment of the optimized game, exactly without the HD. The shipment now is made in the half of the time in relation to the WE5; - Many new movements. The player overthrows the body to move in diagonal line, he uses the peak of the chuteira to touch in the ball, and the goleiro gains a repertoire of new movements; - the kick for covering clicando two times in the kick button is in return, now as an option contained in the menu of the game; - Narration of Jon Kabira; - Statistics of ownership of finally present ball; - Two new abilities: speed of the crossing and " team play ". Beyond a parameter for players who dribble with one or with the two feet; - All the teamses of the J-League, the Japanese league; - All the estádios of the J-League; - 700 players of the J-League, many of them with faces necessarily shaped; - detailed Animation 50% more than of WE5; - the rhythm of the game is faster; - Kicks are stronger, but to make right the goal is still more difficult; - Passes are determined by the pressure in the control Dual Shock 2. If to press pouco/curto, the pass leaves short, if to press very, leaves long; - You dribble are more easy. Inertia was reduced; - To cross the ball, or to raise it in the coasts of the zagueiros is more easy; - the goleiros hold firmer than in WE5; - " Show of the interval ", in the end of each time, replays of the best ones you launch; - Five levels of difficulty. That is, Cafu can until playing in zaga, but its ideal land is the right lateral; - More tactical options; J-League Winning Eleven 5 leaves in day 25 of October in Japan. The version World Soccer Winning Eleven 5 Edition End, of the world-wide soccer, has launching marked for 13 of December, also in Japan. It confers the three first pictures. "

Well the main difference is the J league. WE5 doesn't have the J League. I dont' think (i really don't know if) this game will have International teams like WE5. JWE5 is basically the gameplay updates from PES but for the J League hence the Japanese market. I've been asked if I was going to get JWE5, i'll be fine with PES.

KCET knows what they are doing. They have all the stadiums and player individuality in this game. If you thought it is good now, wait until the CM & Konami colaboration takes place. One thing they did in PES is change player attributes from 0-99 (as mentioned above). Now no player is going to play the same. It's just gong to be awesome!!

As for getting a PS2, I would if I were you. About the girlfriend, some of us in the forum can testify on your behalf. How you will be a more loving and caring boyfriend and how you would spend tons more time with her cos of the new PS2....hahahahahaha :p On a more serious note, if I had the money, I would buy a PS2 for everyone that wants to play these games (just to show you how good they are).

lol

I'm still getting over the WE6 multiplayer thing.....I don't know the details but imagine if you were plugged into a broadband network along with 19 other people from around the world, it'd be amazing.

It may not happen for WE6 but if anyone was going to pull it off it would be KCET.(what is it thyeve changed their name to?)

Yer hopefully they can get their hands on at least the premiership license for next year and put CMs stats to proper use. Getting CM's stats is a move that EA would never have considered ....

Suppose its the huge multinational company strangling innovation thing.(hey I save articulate writing for essays, ok
:D)
